Cold Signals – Neurotransmitter
Welcome to the Spirit of Progress axis: Cold Signals, initially introduced as a side project of Vague Entity. First appearing as a self-contained narrative, the project later evolved into a series of releases under its own moniker. This new chapter folds those developments into a darker, more austere framework.
“Cerebral” opens the EP with hard-hitting, slow-churning momentum — heavy, deliberate, and oppressive, its weight carried by grinding rhythms and controlled tension. “Receptor” shifts toward a more club-geared configuration, driven by seething hi-hats and acidic lines that cut sharply through the mix. With “Synapse”, the EP tightens further: acid pressure is dialed up another notch, the structure stripped back again — minimal, yet relentless.
Neurotransmitter is a focused statement of intent: industrial-heavy techno built for impact and forward momentum.
