💬 Interesting fact:

As a child, Edward loved listening to legends about dragons and pegasi, and at some point, he began to believe in those tales. In the yard of the Pembroke estate, he would draw dragons in the dirt with a stick, dreaming of one day meeting a dragon or a pegasus. Withdrawn and introspective by nature, Edward was given a dark horse with unusual coloring by his parents. He believed it was a pegasus, though one that hadn’t yet learned to fly. Every time he mounted the horse, Edward dreamed that soon the animal would surely take off. Together, they would leave gloomy Stratford behind and travel to distant lands, from the alluring East to romantic Verona.

🎹 It usually ends with a final battle, but Heaven's Secret: Requiem marked the quiet beginning of the end, and everything fell into place.

Lane has remembered the last memory that has been haunting her since she was found near the rift. She realises that she was the cause of the base collapse and she doomed everyone to what happened. She was Shepha’s hope, his messiah, the only one unafraid of her destiny. She was meant to save the world and humanity. But after her death, when she ended up in Baal’s domain, her story was rewritten. He drained her, reforged her and used her.
