Meet Alysha Jefferson Riley President and CEO of A.P.R. Media Broadcasting and Productions LLC.

Alysha Jefferson Riley is the President of A.P.R. Media Broadcasting and Productions LLC, and the popular air personality and executive producer of the Alysha Live! Radio show one of the hottest internet radio shows on Blogtalk Radio, and the Kandid Conversations Podcast with Alysha, on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Pandora and all streaming apps.
This Philadelphia talent is a graduate of Camden High School in New Jersey where she gained her acting and musical roots. After graduating, she relocated to the West Coast, and studied music and vocal performance, under renowned vocal coach to the stars Seth Riggs at the University of Southern California Los Angeles (UCLA), and acting and television productions at Los Angeles City College in Hollywood, CA.
Alysha worked in client service management for several years managing accounts like Sony Music Entertainment, MCA Music Group. CBS Television, and Capitol Records, arranging tours for high profile entertainers. During her time at CBS TV, Alysha had the opportunity to see and be involved in productions behind the scenes that inspired her to produce and host her own cable talk show Alysha Live! The show brought awareness to several national, local community issues, showcased local talent, and talked about the many concerns of the Black and Brown Communities.
Building on her expertise and experience in the entertainment industry, Alysha formed A.P.R. Entertainment and Management Inc. Her client list included gospel music artists Dr. Norman Hutchins, Donald Bell (lead singer for legendary music group Slave) and legendary actress and business owner Barbara Walden of Barbara Walden Cosmetics.
After relocating back to the east coast, in 2008, she formed A.P.R Management and Consulting LLC serving the needs of non-profit organizations in capacity building and strategic planning and formally established A.P.R Media Broadcasting and Productions, LLC in 2020. Alysha holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science degree in Non-profit Management from Eastern University, PA., and a Project Management Certification from Rutgers School of Business, and a business certification certificate from Harvard Business EDX.
Alysha is known for her exceptional stage performance in the South Jersey production of A Raisin in the Sun as Mama Lena Younger (2014), in films, Beyond My Skin (2016), Jason’s Letter (2017), and What Death Leaves Behind (2017), a regular on the popular Web TV show The Book of Ni**od (2017), Mob Diaries (2017), and starring in the new hit TV political crime drama Chase Street (2018) now streaming on Amazon Prime.
Honors included the Distinguish Service-Learning Certificate in Urban Studies and the Jay Sigler Political Science Endowment Scholar from Rutgers University Camden. Alysha has co-authored her first book “Wounded, Survived and Thrived” and anthology, and is currently working on her second book scheduled for release summer 2022.
