Another hot evening and another fine inspirational film. "Tyson's Run" is about a teenage boy on the autism spectrum and his search to find love and approval in his father's eyes. I love almost all inspirational running movies, yet I was particularly interested in this one because I am the publisher of "Thorlak of Iceland" which tells the true story of the Patron Saint of Iceland who also was on the spectrum. Both the film and the book serve to create understanding about autism and to inspire those on the spectrum and their loved ones to have hope and confidence in a brighter future.
