I used to be the queen of “I’ll do it later.”

Later, when things slow down.
Later, when I feel ready.
Later, when the timing feels perfect.

But here’s what I’ve learned
 later never really comes.

I’ve watched opportunities slip through my fingers because I thought I had time. I’ve felt the sting of regret for not taking action when my heart was screaming “go for it.” And I’ve lived the frustration of realising that while I waited for later, life just kept moving forward.

The truth is, later is comfortable, but comfort won’t create the life you dream of.

The shift happened when I started saying YES to now.

Even when it felt scary.
Even when I wasn’t ready.
Even when I didn’t have it all figured out.

Because the magic is in the momentum. And every step I took in the now built the future I once only dreamed about.

So here’s your reminder.
Don’t wait for later.
Do the thing now. Say yes now. Start now.

Because later can so easily turn into never.

My horses don’t pay the bills
 but they do inspire me to find something that does.

Let’s be honest, hay isn’t getting any cheaper, rugs somehow multiply in the tack room, and apparently horses eat more when you’re stressed (or maybe that’s just me).

Owning horses taught me two things.

How to budget and then re budget when they blow the budget.

The importance of finding an income stream that can actually keep up with the dreams and vet bills.

That’s exactly why I started my online business. I wanted more than “just enough to scrape by.” I wanted freedom. I wanted choice. I wanted to know I could say yes to opportunities for my horses and my family without hesitation.

So while my horses don’t pay the bills, they’ve pushed me to build something that can.

Who had snow last weekend? We were lucky enough to get a good cover of snow and I managed to tick off my bucket list dream of riding in the snow. The King dancing in the snow 👑

My fencing helpers today. And yes, Callie did ever so carefully step out of the cattle rail panel on the ground 😂

More to do tomorrow but we now have a single swinging gate, a proper latch and a straight fence as Callie’s fencing effort a few weeks ago wasn’t wanted 😂
