The funeral service of David Owen will take place at Middlebie Church at 12 noon, on Monday 29th September and all are welcome.
For those who cannot be seated in the church, overflow seating will be available at Middlebie Community Centre, where the service will be shown live. A private family burial will follow.
We kindly ask everyone attending to park responsibly. The Owen Farm Services team and members of the church community will be on hand to help those unfamiliar with Middlebie.
After the service, all are welcome to join the family at the Cressfield Hotel, Ecclefechan, to share memories of David over refreshments.

Pictured is David with the second of his two eight-enders. He also twice held the world record for the longest curling match and representing Team GB at the World University Games, he had quite the curling CV.
