Just days after Ozzy Osbourne's funeral, his son, Jack has come forward to speak out publicly for the first time since his father's death.

In a touching tribute to the legend, the 39-year-old wrote on his Instagram page: "I haven't really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much.

"I'm gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches.

"He was so many things to so many people, but I was lucky and blessed to be a part of a very small group that got to call him 'dad'.

"My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow but also so much love and gratitude.

"I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.

"Hunter S. Thompson once said: 'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, Wow! What a ride'."

"That was my dad. He lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad."

Sad News 😢 Ozzy Osbourne dies aged 76
Ozzy Osbourne has died "surrounded by love" at the age of 76, a statement from his family said.

"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the family said in a statement.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

Osbourne had Parkinson's disease and had suffered other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained in a fall in 2019.

He leaves behind his wife, Sharon, and their children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, as well his two older children, Jessica and Louis, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, and grandchildren.

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (3 December 1948 – 22 July 2025) was an English singer, songwriter, and media personality.

He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness".

Three UK is currently experiencing a widespread outage affecting voice calls, including in Newport and across much of the UK. The issue began early this morning, and while data services are still working, many users are unable to make or receive calls.

Three has acknowledged the problem and says they’re “working hard to fix it.”

Emergency calls to 999 were also affected earlier but have reportedly started working again as of early afternoon.

There’s no confirmed time for full restoration yet, but the fact that some services are returning is a good sign. You can keep an eye on Three’s official network status page for live updates.

If you’re stuck without calls, try using Wi-Fi calling if your phone supports it—it might help you stay connected in the meantime.

In 1981, The Specials released their final single, "Ghost Town". It was produced by the reggae producer John Collins.

Collins has since revealed that certain bits of the recording were left on the cutting room floor, including a section where Terry Hall did some toasting!

The single was recorded at Woodbine Studios, Leamington Spa and would be the final time all seven members would record together.
