Pretty late on sharing this….but I got to marry my best friend 2 years ago, and I wanna take a moment to appreciate her.

Agency update: gonna reinvest my unemployment and severance into paid ads.

As I started to get better, I worked on building out the backend of my ad campaign. I’ll share a bit more of that soon.

When I’m filming founders and their teams, they are often uncomfortable when speaking on camera.

99% of the time I find that these little tips help improve on camera performance:

1. Over Project
Speaking at a normal conversation tone on camera makes you appear unconfident. The camera doesn’t add 10 lbs, but it can make you appear more nervous. Simply speaking louder than what’s normally comfortable and projecting your voice immediately adds more authority and confidence

2. Tonality
A mix of low tones and high tones adds character to your voice. Most people will speak in one flat tone, which makes it sound like you’re reading. If you were reading a book to a child, they would be bored if you just read the words. But if you add tone changes and emphasis to the words, it’ll make them engaged. Same goes for presenting on camera

3. Pauses
Pauses are severely overlooked because it’s way too simple. But pauses can add emphasis to your words, and can allow time for a viewer to process what was said. Rushing through your words creates more fatigue in your body which will make you appear more tired on camera overtime.

Last year I started rebuilding my content agency with my new offer while still working my day job.

I didn’t have any clients. No proof that I could do what I was pitching outside of doing it for myself.

So I went on Upwork, and found a gig for $150. Building funnels, editing ad content, and managing paid ads.
