I used to think intercession was only for the intense few. The ones who could travail, shout, and pray for hours. But the Lord wrecked that mindset. He showed me that intercession is not a special calling. It is a responsibility placed on every believer.

The Church doesn’t always teach this. It will show you how to attend, how to live your best life, and how to receive. But rarely how to stand in the gap. Yet Scripture is clear. Intercession is not optional. It is the posture of every son, every daughter, and every priest.

To intercede is to stand between what is and what heaven has declared must be. It is not just praying about things. It is contending until they shift. Intercession is where agreement becomes authority. It is where your voice carries weight and your obedience becomes a weapon. It is not about being loud. It is about being available. Willing. Present. Ready to wake up when it is inconvenient and pray until heaven breaks in.

This is not a livestream to watch. It is a war room for anyone who refuses to settle. No matter your city, background, or denomination. You belong in the trenches.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 AM, over 50 followers of Jesus crucify comfort and show up hungry. We do not pray to pass the time. We pray until He comes.

Our hearts are broken. 💔

As parents of two children and as pastors who spent many summers in the Texas Hill Country at youth camps, we feel this tragedy in the deepest places of our soul. What was meant to be a place of joy, encounter, and safety has turned into unthinkable sorrow for so many families.

To every parent still searching… to every mother and father grieving… to every community touched by this storm—our tears are with yours. This isn’t distant to us. It’s deeply personal. And we know it matters to the heart of God.

We cry out for the Hill Country.
We cry out for every family.
And we cry out for Jesus, the only One who can comfort the pain no one else sees.

We are lifting our voices in intercession for you.
We are asking for peace that surpasses understanding.
And we are believing that somehow, even in this, His mercy will meet you.

Jesus is still near to the brokenhearted. He still binds up the wounds of the crushed.
And He is not absent in this hour. He is Emmanuel, God with us.

Let heaven come.
Let healing rise.
Let every heart know they are not forgotten.

This weekend, revivalists from Let Heaven Come set foot in San Antonio, not to host a service but to dig the wells of awakening in a city with a legacy of outpouring.

Long before us, in 1925, thousands gathered at San Pedro Springs for mass baptisms. Healing crusades swept through these streets. Unity movements were birthed here. This ground remembers what Heaven once poured out. And now, it’s happening again.

As we cried out for revival in the heart of the city, something supernatural happened.
There was no rain in the forecast.
Yet the moment intercession intensified and hunger arose, the winds began to blow and rain began to fall.
No one took cover.
No one ran.
We stood in it. We wept in it. We worshiped in it.

It wasn’t weather.
It was a holy moment.
I believe it was a prophetic confirmation that the wells are open again.

Shout-out to April Cole for sending me the article that unveiled the deep revival history rooted in San Antonio. That revelation brought even greater weight to what we stepped into. I honor your sensitivity to the Spirit and your hunger for revival.
