✨20 YEARS✨ I try to stay in my lane and not run around giving unsolicited advice, but I will just say this after 20 years of marriage…
Friendship matters more than you realize in the beginning. You have to genuinely have fun together, and enjoy each other’s company.
Think the best of each other, assume good intentions first - give each other the benefit of the doubt.
Take the time to learn the reality of male/female dynamics and what motivates, drives, and encourages each, as well as what causes stress, anxiety, and shuts down each. AND WHY (This truly changed my life)
Life happens, things change, people grow, people change. You don’t always have to be on the same page for everything- just make sure you always have something that brings you together, something you can connect over.
I could say so much more - but I’ll leave it there for now :)
