My 6-year-old daughter used to adore her father. She happily ran to greet him when he came back from work and enjoyed going anywhere with him.

But recently, I noticed that she started giving him the cold shoulder. Whenever my husband tried to hug her or kiss her in my presence, or invited her to go with him to the store or to the park, she turned away and tried to escape from his embrace and refused to go.

A few days ago, when my husband went to the grocery store, I decided to find out why she started to behave in such a hostile way toward her dad.

"Miley, why have you been avoiding your dad recently?" I asked her.
"Dad has changed, Mommy," she replied.

Our grandma, once well-off, had always been generous to us. She paid for our college tuition, helped with the down payments on our homes, and was always there in times of need. But by the time she moved in with my brother, her savings were nearly gone.

Initially, things were fine. Grandma helped around the house and enjoyed her time with the grandchildren. However, as her financial contributions dwindled, my brother's patience wore thin, and he began to see her as a burden.

One evening, she called me, her voice trembling. "Your brother kicked me out! He says I have no inheritance left."

I was shocked and angry. How could he do this to the woman who had done so much for us? I drove to his house, but he was resolute. "She’s drained all her funds," he said coldly. "I can't afford to let her leech on me."

NEW HOMEOWNERS DEMANDED THAT I REMOVE 'MY GARBAGE' FROM THE GARAGE – A WEEK LATER, THEY CALLED BEGGING ME TO RETURN IT

I just sold my parents' house and went through the whole place, making sure everything was cleared out. I even had it professionally cleaned before putting it on the market, and no one had lived there since.

Two days after closing, the new owners started bombarding my realtor with calls, complaining about "my garbage" left in the garage. They'd seen it before, and it hadn't been an issue, but now they wanted to charge me for additional cleaning.

Well, even though I live two hours away and have three kids to take care of, I offered to come back and sort it out. I cleared everything out of the garage, took it with me, and left.

A COUPLE AT THE CAFE HUMILIATED ME WHILE I WAS SERVING THEIR TABLE – MY BOSS'S REACTION SHOCKED ME

So, I was on my evening shift at the cafe, and this couple walked in. From the moment they entered, they were obnoxious and rude. When I was taking their order, the girl called me "disabled" because I didn't get to their table within three minutes.

They kept changing their order, mixing things up, and blaming me for getting it wrong. This time, they called me "deaf."

But they really crossed the line when the guy, while his girlfriend wasn't looking, "accidentally" touched my leg and smiled. I called him out right there, but he accused me of lying, and his girlfriend took his side!

My grandma, Lucy, called me, her voice shaking, saying that all her kids and other grandkids had the nerve to decline her invitation to her birthday party. The reason? BECAUSE THEY FOUND OUT WHAT A MENIAL JOB SHE DOES.

I couldn't believe my ears. Surely, they weren't serious. I decided to call my mom and her siblings to get to the bottom of this disgrace. To my horror, they all confirmed that my grandma's job was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to them. They didn't want to be associated with her or her "EMBARRASSING" work.

Furious, I took the first plane home, but by the time I arrived, my grandma's birthday had come and gone. The next morning, she revealed through tears that not a single soul had shown up, despite her desperate attempts to reach out to everyone again.
