If you’re subscribed to our emails, you might remember us talking about NOW! Comics using a Johnny Dollar character as a villain back in the 1990s. Our answer to that is almost ready. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar: The Gr33n H0rn3tz Matter is set to drop next month! The art is complete and Saida is working on the lettering. 💥

In this issue, Johnny tracks a hacker from Burlington to Chicago to Ocala, Florida. The guy dresses like Kato from The Green Hornet and uses a “Hacking Wheel” to pick his next target. It’s a wild ride and the kind of story that shows exactly why this character still resonates all these decades later.

We’ve wrapped up the fourth and final issue of The Press Guardian, and the Kickstarter is slated for January!

This story let us explore the intersection of Russian influence campaigns, social media, and politics, and we’re really happy with how it all comes together in the finale.

We’ve also got a couple of fun surprises planned for the Kickstarter. The pre-launch page will be live soon, so make sure you’re on our email list so you don’t miss it!

And for the die-hard Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves fans out there, keep an eye out for a little homage to one of its most iconic scenes in the middle page.

✨ About this Megan Huang Variant Cover & Buck Rogers vs The Cyber Lords

Buck Rogers returns! At Green Archer Comics we revive legends and no one is more legendary than Buck Rogers!

Based loosely on the original Philip Francis Nowlan stories, Buck Rogers is a World War 1 veteran who returns home to rural Pennsylvania to work as a mining engineer. He accidentally falls into a pocket of mysterious gas deep in the mine and enters a state of suspended animation. 
Buck wakes up in the year 2419 to find a world overrun by criminals called the Cyber Lords and a population at their mercy. He quickly runs afoul of of some of the Cyber Lords foot soldiers before joining up with a rebel camp at the invitation of Wilma Deering and embarking on a wild adventure 44-page comic that is part of this 56-page comic book.

This variant cover is a gorgeous Star Wars tribute, which is fitting since George Lucas based the Star Wars movies on the Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon Serials!

I know you come here for comics content, not real estate news but I think opening an expo space at Dulles Town Center makes a lot of sense.

As much as we love The Dulles Expo Center it was getting old, and the owners hadn't really invested in updating it. The new space will be bigger and fresher. It could also give the mall a nice boost.

I am sure that at least Big Lick Comic Con - NOVA will move there in 2026 and, hopefully, Fairfax Comic Con will as well.

The new venue at Dulles Town Center is one of the spaces set to fill the void after the Dulles Expo Center closes next month.

Now this is what you call pumpkin spice! 🎃 October is Eoghan the Headless Horseman’s favorite month and the Cryptid Hacker Force agrees. It’s the only time they can really let their hair down—or, in Aikaterine’s case, her snakes—while the world fills with amazing costumes, the perfect cover for a cryptid to blend in.
