Love Beyond Time is a spellbinding Bharatanatyam production by Austin Dance India, under the masterful artistic direction of Anuradha Naimpally, an Austin Arts Hall of Famer and a pillar of Indian classical arts in Central Texas.

Filmed at the Dougherty Arts Center, this sold-out production took Austin audiences on a spiritual journey through timeless tales drawn from Hindu mythology and devotional poetry—brought to life through exquisite Bharatanatyam dance and soul-stirring live Carnatic music.

Experience glimpses of stories that transcend lifetimes: from reverent invocations to Lord Ganesha to emotional narratives of unrequited love, playful devotion, and divine union. Join in Austin for a genre-bending tribute to the one and only Zakir Hussain — where East meets improv and the beat lives on
In a specially commissioned SIA tribute, eminent Ragas and Jazz musicians come together to celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of Zakir Hussain with an evening of works they performed with him. The ensemble of eight includes Grammy winning violinist, vocalist L. Shankar (original SHAKTI), Grammy winning percussionist Selvaganesh Vinayakram (Remember SHAKTI), Grammy nominated Indo-Jazz saxophonist George Brooks (multiple collaborations), bassist Kai Eckhardt (multiple collaborations), raga pianist Utsav Lal, Zakir’s tabla disciple Amit Kavthekar , male vocalist Rohith Jayaraman (lead vocalist of Berklee Indian Ensemble), female vocalist Mahalakshmi Krishnan.
