🎾 What does it take to become a top tennis player while excelling in school?

Meet Kayden-Reed: a focused, passionate LSS student-athlete from Florence, Alabama who’s balancing competitive tennis with academic success at Laurel Springs.

🏆 Currently ranked:
🔹 13 in Alabama
🔹 Top 1500 in the U.S.
🔹 5 for recruitment in his class in Alabama

When he’s not on the court, Kayden-Reed enjoys reading, gaming, going to the movies, and building Legos. His favorite subject is Chemistry, and he appreciates the personal attention and encouragement he receives from his LSS teachers, especially Ms. Peterson.

His goal? 🎓 To play tennis at the collegiate level while studying sports medicine.

Kayden-Reed, we’re cheering you on as you serve up success both academically and athletically! 💪

Our Story

Cracked Racquets is a digital sports media company which uses online publication, live video broadcasting channels, podcasting platforms, and social media networks to cover all things junior, college and professional tennis.

There is a glaring void in current tennis coverage. It’s fixated on the “Big Four.” It’s pretentious. It’s not funny. The writers take themselves oh-so-seriously. Really, it’s everything that can make tennis insufferable.

We have a growing list of players from the highest ranks of junior, collegiate and, yes, even in the ATP/WTA ranks that are “all-in” on our idea. They want to be part of this movement.

Our growing tennis community of more than 45,000 monthly-players, coaches, family members, and tennis industry executives- are looking for an outlet to share and hear their unique stories, skip the PR fluff and give readers/viewers/listeners a better idea of the inner workings of the global sport of tennis.
