Released via Disused Machines, composer and sound artist Ishai Adar unveils the original score for HBO’s Our Boys, available digitally for the first time. Avoiding traditional cues, Adar crafts an electroacoustic soundscape where processed acoustic instruments blur the line between organic and synthetic. The result is tense, abstract, and emotionally charged, mirroring the show’s shadowed spaces and psychological complexity. Known for his work on Beaufort, Shirkers, and Sympathy for the Devil, Adar also produces retro-futuristic electronic music inspired by vintage electro and minimalist Italo sounds. Our Boys is both a soundtrack and a standalone piece—immersive, unresolved, and resonant with unease.
