It's been a long time since you heard from KreweHar, and it may well be that way for a while to come. Since last we shouted out to you, we were knees-deep in writing an epic planar adventure to burst on to the scene with our Farseeker products, as well as attempting to bring The Nymian Beastlands Campaign Setting back in some form. However, things got in the way of the work.
Between a moldy apartment making me sick, followed by harassment and unfair eviction attempts by the property management, and then a wild-eyed move to Washington state to try a new state of being - things have been hectic and crazy.
I have been looking for a stable independent place to live in WA, but it has not been easy. Affordable rental housing is among the most sought-after resource in this area, and not by any means easy to find or access. Despite these setbacks - as with all obstacles in my life - I am persisting to keep at it, and to eventually settle down. When that happens, so will the creative magic. I am still seeking help with moving here in totality - if you would like to help out, please donate to https://www.gofundme.com/2b8db2k
Justin Sluder and I have also spoken at length about our own personal goals over the past few months, and I think many people in our position would be happy to see someone achieve the "impossible" in our industry.
So many things are happening in the tabletop RPG markets - for those of you who say that Paizo is running out of steam, I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about. This is nothing like "the 3.5 days." With the upcoming release of the scifi/fantasy Starfinder RPG later this year, with a whole slew of inspired and motivated content developers transforming themselves daily into better creators, the advent of accessible VR/AR, and the promulgation of live-streaming (including by yours truly), the market now is not the same as it was then. It's not the same basis, and not the same argument.
On that note, I have shifted a significant portion of my creative focus into doing live-stream and recorded video of material which is free and accessible, simply displaying the sorts of creative decision-making that goes into making art, products, or other fun ideas related to fiction, gaming, and creative storytelling. If you want to check out Will's personal live-stream channel, it is http://twitch.tv/xidoraven and all videos are archived on http://youtube.com/user/TheXidoraven. A page specifically for this live-stream and video archive is here: http://facebook.com/xidoravenpresents. Feel free to give it a like, follow the channel on Twitch, and subscribe on Youtube to show your support.
As always, best wishes to you and yours. Take care of each other. And I will see you on the Other Side. -Will, Lead Rakshasa
After an ordeal lasting several years and ending on a low note with my residence, I have reached the point where relocating is my only option. I did not want to ask the whole world for funds, but the next journey in my life is bound to be anything but free. My name is Will Thompson, and currentl...
