It's always rough having family betray you. Like when someone chooses to be greedy or do something underhanded. It stings when a person you love breaks that trust. But sometimes legal action isn't an option. What you need to remember is we need to cut toxic people out of all aspects of our lives. Whether personal or business family once you cut the fat away the happier you will be. Perhaps best said were they actually family in the first place if they could think to do that. Brother or sister is a relative term. And anyone who defends their actions or justifies it or says but they are family are no better than the perp themselves. This video hopefully inspires you to break free. You can control the narrative. And remember God sees it all and Karma is a bitch. When we take accountability for our actions, we all win. We can be vulnerable and still hold our positions as leaders and confident people. It's easy to assign fault or not to take ownership of our own words and action but if you want respect in your life both business and professionally its an essential tool. Failure isn't a bad word. Great leaders and people lead by example. Now stand up and say your truth. Don't forget to like, follow, comment.

Do we really listen when people speak. If we asked you to repeat what was said would you be able to do it? We listen but imagine if we listened like people who were actually engaged in active listening. People will tell you who they are in the first five minutes, but do we listen? If we weren't thinking of what do say back or mimicking words back we could pick up on so much more. Business and personal, at school or work or in all social situations if we are present and actively listen we do ourselves and our speaker the best service of all.

Ever wonder why people don't take hints? If you see and A/B conversation, why people choose to either interrupt or see their way into the discussion or worse change the subject to what they want to talk about as though you are invisible? This video has your answers. Its a thing we need to change. What you want to say isn't the most important thing in the room. It goes back to wait your turn. You are not the main character in everyone's story. And if we don't learn how to handle ourselves in business and in personal life by showing respect for privacy and not interrupting, we just may become the villain.

Lateness seems to be the latest thing along with trying to be the third person in private conversations. Let's get down to it. There is really no excuse to be late. Is there really a great excuse for being late? I know there are emergencies we don't plan for but let's get real. If you know you will be late, then reschedule. Making excuses for lateness is an embarrassment. To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late and to be late don't bother showing up at all. Hurry and subscribe, follow like or comment. Sometimes we have doubts when things aren't going our way not to take the ride and trust the process. We tend to want to retreat rather than moving forward. Or give up rather than push past barriers or figure out a new way around them. Trusting the process or trust the universe will help us stay the course and realize those bumps in the road don't define us they make us stronger. Feel free to let me know your thoughts.

Being the light in someone's life takes so many forms. We are created in God's image, and we can be compassionate. We can show up for people by being our word or spreading kindness instead of gossip and hate. We can be present and really listen to someone and not think of what is it we want to say. It can be cheering someone on or cheering them up when the world has kicked them down. In business it's doing the extra work to not just be mediocre but to really show you care or want to be cutting edge. There are so many ways. Tell me in the comments some of the ways you are the light in other people's lives.

It's easy to not make an effort. But why do we? Is it really great to skate on the bare minimum? Whether in business or in our personal lives we are need to choose going above and beyond. It's easy to be mediocre and to take the easy way out. It means we stay in safe places. Let's be bold. Making an effort isn't as daunting as we think. Looking forward to your comments. We always say we are nice to others or at least tolerate them. Some even go so far as to follow Leviticus 19:18 but do we? So many times we don't lend a hand or we have come to live with the What's in it for us mentality that we have really both in personal and in business that need for it to be transactional or just because we can. Would love to know from you all in the comments what was the last Mitzvah you did either business or personal for a stranger without feeling the WIIFM? Let's celebrate just loving the stranger today.
