I'm Holly. I travel around trying local breweries and restaurants all over the world. I'm Holly! My journey started in April of 2017. I love traveling.

I'm originally from Virginia Beach, VA...and (probably) like you, I love traveling, capturing photos of my trips, and finding local breweries, distilleries, wineries, and cocktail bars along the way! I realized that I had wasted so much time compromising on things that I wanted to do. I love trying new beers. I love photography. So why not do it all?! First thing I did was make a list of places ar

ound the world that I wanted to travel to. Then I made a list around the United States that I wanted to visit. [[Even though this seems so easy, making a list is a huge step!]] I realized that I had written down about 40 different countries and 15 different cities around the U.S. This was eye-opening. So here I go, attempting to share my stories and write about my experiences and hoping that it will be an inspiration to someone...somewhere. No pressure. 😅

Life is way too short to sit around and make a list about places you want to go, you have to actually do it. So let's go!

If you’re visiting Prague and you’re looking for A LOT of local beer options, this is THE place.

🍺 Over 120 beers and even some extras that aren’t on the menu. This spot was so cool, and the people working there were amazing. (Shoutout to Valentina and Alex). You just tell them the styles appear that you like and they surprise you with some options on a flight. Since I like most beer, that sounds like the ideal situation for me. Of course, if you see one that you definitely wanna try you can tell them, but I would let the experts do the picking.

Plus, their signs around the patio and inside are epic. 🤣 [SLIDE 👉]

October = pumpkins 🧡 I can’t believe I’m already 6 months! The belly is poppin even though you can’t really see it here 😅

To be honest, everything has been a dream so far. The worst thing (up to this point) is really bad acid reflux…which I’m okay with because apparently that means he’ll have a head full of hair! Haha.

Oh, and not being able to drink all the seasonal beers coming out 😫

Oh, hi! Has it really been a month?! What the heck?! Okay, so here’s what’s been going on…

Firstly, I miss you guys!! And creating!

Secondly, I’ve been going all over the place. I’ve spent a lot of time in Switzerland this month, but haven’t really been in the mood to pose at breweries for photos. Honestly, most of my photos have me in them (the first photo at least), so I tell myself that if I can’t get one of me, it’s not worth it to take one and post it. Maybe I have to get over that? Meh.

Lastly, I’ve been struggling to find consistent work! I’m sure soooooo many people feel this right now. I’m a digital marketing consultant/freelancer, and have just had some experiences that I’m not happy with…professionally.

Anyway, I wanted to pop into your feeds (FINALLY) and say hi and hopefully see you all a lot more moving into summertime! Because…

Switzerland has the most breweries per capita than any other country…or something like that! 😜 🍻

I can’t get over this wall…honestly. NOLA breweries are so creative! Oh…and the beer is too 😉

When you first walk up to , you get that “comfy” “I’m in my friends backyard” kind of vibe. It’s really welcoming and the picnic tables are clutch. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the owner…and he’s ready to help you try and find the perfect beer for you. And trust me, there will be something! The beer I’m drinking is a Banana Cream Stout 🤤

Over all, it was a great experience. I highly suggest adding this one to your list.

A day on the town: NOLA edition. Oh, and all by my lonesome. 😌

This New Orleans brewery was on my list because of a few things. The reviews, the aesthetics, and the location! I wanted a walkable hop, so I went with this one first.

Not only are the vibes great, the place is pretty big and has a full bar…you know, for those people who don’t like beer. (We all have those friends). This place is perfect for a few drinks and they’re connected to a BBQ spot, ummmmm say less. Haha.

I definitely recommend stopping in. The Czech Pale Lager was pretty amazing, if you’re into those. If not, you should be.
