I have a white friend named James, he spent a lot of time in Zebediela back in the 1980's. He lived here. He was working with De Beers on the mines as head of Diamond Explorations. He lived in a place called Nkumpi Valley which is in the mountains near Nkumpi. In 2017, he took me on a little trip to show me where they used to live and how Zebediela was like back in the day. We made this little frame to show Nkumpi Valley then and now. The pictures on the top were taken by James in 1988 and the ones on the bottom we took at the same locations in 2017. I'm planning a meeting with James soon to explore more of this places that use to be homes.
