On December 4th, Radio Waves & Other Noises with Richard Wagoner & Mike Stark presents the long promised, never before heard interview with 93 KHJ programmer - Ron Jacobs. You'll hear the multi-hour interview Richard and Mike did with this very unique individual. You'll hear it unedited and unfiltered with all the quirks and stories that this misunderstood genius gave us back when it was recorded in 2015, shortly before his passing.

This was to be our last episode, but after digging through the "vaults" we may have come up with a couple more of those "career spanning" interviews - and we may look into doing some additional new episodes. Don't cancel your subscription and keep "tuned" to this page for some new developments to be announced after the first of the year.

Just posted: 2018 Interview with Chuck Martin, the last programmer of KHJ (930 AM) before the popular top forty station went country in November of 1980. Also on hand is longtime KHJ engineer/production director Douglas Brown.

Through December 4, Radio Waves & Other Noises with Richard Wagoner & Mike Stark will be presenting "the best of" the "career spanning" interviews that have been heard over the last ten plus years.

This week: A 2013 90-minute conversation with the late Lee Marshall, an alumnus of many stations throughout the country including KRIZ in Phoenix, KCBQ in San Diego, CKLW in Detroit, WOR-FM in New York and in Los Angeles he graced the airwaves on such legendary stations as 93 KHJ, KABC and KDAY. Lee did thousands of voice-over jobs, including his role as the voice of Tony the Tiger.
