১।অভিনয়ের সর্ব প্রথম স্টেপ হল আপনাকে স্ক্রিপ্ট মন দিয়ে পড়তে হবে। (মঞ্চে অভিনয়ের ক্ষেত্রেও প্রযোজ্য)।

২। ডিরেক্টরের সাথে কথা বলুনঃ ডিরেক্টরের সাথে চরিত্র নিয়ে খোলামেলা আলোচনা করুন। চরিত্রটি বুঝে নিন এবং ডিরেক্টর আপনার কাছ থেকে কি কি এক্সপেক্ট করছে তাও জেনে নিন।

৩। চরিত্র বিশ্লেষণঃ স্ক্রিপ্টের চরিত্রের নাম কি? সে কোথায় থাকে? কিভাবে কথা বলে? তার পারিপার্শ্বিক অবস্থা কি? তার পোশাক কেমন? তার আচরণ কে

মন? ইত্যাদি আদ্যোপান্ত সবকিছু চরিত্র সম্পর্কে বিশ্লেষণ করুন। প্রয়োজনে ডিরেক্টরকে বারংবার বিরক্ত করুন ।

৪। চরিত্র ধারণঃ চরিত্রটি নিজের মাঝে ধারণ করুন এবং লালন করুন। নিজেকে উক্ত চরিত্রে কল্পনা করুন। চরিত্রের চাহিদানুযায়ী কথা বলুন এবং পোশাক পরিধানের চেষ্টা করুন।

৫। লোকেশন ভ্রমণঃ সম্ভব হলে শুটিং স্পট ঘুরে আসুন শুটিং এর আগেই। এতে করে চরিত্র ধারণে সুবিধা হবে।

মডেলিং: এক কথায়, বেশভূষা, চুলের স্টাইল, হাঁটাচলা, দাঁড়ানোর ভঙ্গি, চোখের চাহনি, সুন্দর হাসি, শুদ্ধ উচ্চারণ, দিয়ে অন্যকে নিজের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করাই মডেলিং।
