As Thanksgiving arrives, I think of all the things
For which I'm grateful and the joy that it brings
I'm grateful for my family, friends, and love
And for the blessings sent from above
I've learned to cherish the little things in life
The moments that bring joy and ease strife
The memories we make may seem small
But they're the ones we treasure most of all
I'm glad for friends to share a drink and laugh
And a life that's full of love and not half
For legs that run and chase my children wild
And for the chance to be their parent, proud and mild
I'm grateful for the time to pray and reflect
And for the courage to ask for help and connect
I know that time is fleeting and it's always today
So I'm grateful for this moment, come what may
On this Thanksgiving, let's raise a cheer
For all the blessings we have and hold dear
May we remember to be thankful every day
And cherish the moments that come our way.
