Ahead of the North East Old Skool presents North/South gig at Odd Mollies this October, we’re continuing our look at the DJs set to take the stage.

This week’s spotlight is on Dilly, who has played for us before and was nothing short of unbelievable. A stalwart of the Irish electronic music scene for over 30 years, his journey began in the late ’80s during the acid house explosion. From winning the Northern Ireland finals of the DMC Mixing Championships to sharing stages with Carl Cox, Pete Tong, and Paul Oakenfold, DILLY has been a driving force in the scene for decades.

Beyond the decks, he’s managed legendary record shops like Dance Zone and Mixmaster, founded Belfast Underground Records, and run Cloud 9 Studios in Banbridge, engineering thousands of tracks for top labels. Still as passionate and active as ever, DILLY continues to inspire both crowds and upcoming DJs with sets that are packed with energy, depth, and pure love for electronic music.

This week’s Throwback Tuesday takes us back to a flyer from one of the nights Judge Jules played at Kiss Nightclub, Boyne Valley Hotel.

Passion at Kiss Nightclub ran in conjunction with the Temple Theatre, which meant the club was regularly blessed with some of the biggest international DJs.

Now, 25 years later, The Judge returns to Drogheda for a very special Trance Classics set, October 4th, Odd Mollies.
