Multiple national parks have been ordered to remove exhibits and photos relating to slavery, according to a source.

So we cant have pictures of slaves at our parks or in our museums but we can have pictures and statues of the people who enslaved them. And we can pass laws that prohibits the removal of such statues. How can you be offended by this picture but not be offended by the statue of the man who did it?

We all are going to leave here one day. Some will say that you were a good person and others will say that you were a terrible person.
The truth is they both are probably right.
You were a good person to those who you liked. Great to those who look like you and shared your views. And you were a terrible person to those who didn't.

If you want to know the true character of a person dont ask his friend, ask his enemies.

Anybody can be good to John the disciple whom Jesus loved but how you treat Judas is what reveals your true nature.

Christianity measured by how you treat your friends. Christinaty is measured by how you treat your enemies.

Everyone is a Christian until its time to really be one.

No research or thinking required. Don't be so thirst that you drink out of every cup handed to you. That's how you get poisoned.

Many of us have been so traumatized that we no longer feel pain or hurt. So much so that not only are we incapable of feeling our own pain but we no longer have the capacity to feel the pain of others. This has left us in a cold and callus society that is no longer moved by anything, regardless of how tragic the event. The one thing that makes this situation completely incomprehensible is that the church is not only participants but oftentimes the ring leaders.
The most compelling picture of Jesus is found in these two words."Jesus wept" John 11:35. His ability to look at someone's pain and to feel what they were feeling is the greatest portrait the savior that ever can be painted. The church's inability to have sympathy and empathy for those who are hurting is a misrepresentation of Christ. When we follow Christ we are able to feel what he feels and do what He does. If you are in a place that you can no longer feel the love and compassion of Christ you are in the wrong place and following the wrong people.
I was grieving today because those of us who profess to love Christ, clearly don't love his sheep.
