The Center for Science Diplomacy was thrilled to take part in the 2025 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston, MA from February 13-15, 2025. Staff took part in a number of sessions, including Estefania Ortiz Calva, Senior Program Associate at CSD, who moderated a session on U.S.-Cuba Scientific Cooperation, and Kim Montgomery, CSD Director, who spoke in a session on actionable science diplomacy. During the meeting, AAAS and the Royal Society launched their revised framework on science diplomacy, “Science Diplomacy in an Era of Disruption.” They marked the occasion with a session featuring leadership from both organizations.
