Miyaco 🐶 and I shared smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments amidst Carnaval’s closing bloco (aka street carnaval celebration) this past Sunday. On this day I felt an over pouring of gratitude for everything that has blessed my life up until this point.

Having an online business that works via automation while you travel wherever you feel like it, for however long, live life and enjoy the little moments will never get old. Throughout my 3 year journey living abroad I’ve met some amazing people. The common denominator among us all is that we choose freedom and don’t believe you have to settle for a life or job that doesn’t feed your soul. You can be a digital nomad, stay at home mom or whatever your heart desires without having to watch life pass you by. The world is round and so are the opportunities meaning you can do other things to create a life of your dreams that don’t fall into that traditional 9-5 category which often leave us feeling trapped and unfulfilled. Just because everyone else follows societal norms doesn’t mean you have to. I’ll never look back and say I shouldn’t have moved abroad, traveled or started an online business because it’s given me the most incredible life. A few years ago I would never have imagined this would be my reality today. Playing beach Vball everyday, daily ocean swims, beach workouts, incredible nature all around, global jaunts with my pup as we chase eternal Summer all year long. It’s a complete no brainer! But then why doesn’t everyone live their dream lifestyle? It boils down to one thing, those that take action and those that don’t. How many times have you heard people say I wish I would have done this or started that etc. If you just take massive action today and focus on the tasks to get the job done you’ll look up one day and realize, oh s**t! Look what I just created, built/ did! Same can be said about most things that take time energy and dedication. If you just start and stay focused you’ll get there as long as you don’t give up. It won’t be easy but nothing ever worthwhile is easy.

TBT to last year’s carnival where I fulfilled a major bucket list item – strutting proudly in the official 2023 parade, dancing enthusiastically, and savoring the best moments of my life, drenched in sweat 😅

Carnival season 2024 has arrived, flooding me with joy and nostalgic emotions. Rio’s magic during this time—filled with glitter, costumes, music, samba, and blocos—is truly magical. The city pulses with excitement, similar to a child anticipating Christmas.

This season also evokes deep gratitude, reflecting on my journey. In the early days of the pandemic, cleaning my LA home, I stumbled upon a piece of paper outlining an almost decade-old goal,the paper read: 1. In 10 years I’ll be living in a foreign country learning a new language. I took the old goal sheet and displayed it in my home office, a daily reminder during at-home workouts and journaling sessions during the strict LA lockdown.

Six months later, having maintained my routines, I met a passionate friend who had spent years in Brazil. Inspired, I booked a one-way ticket, escaping LA’s strict pandemic atmosphere. In Brazil, surrounded by amazing new Vball friends, I began living the life I had envisioned. Having ended a relationship and navigating a tumultuous asset division had left me craving change.

Reflecting, I see how those written goals played a crucial role. If not for that piece of paper, my path might be different. Now, three years later, I reside in Brazil with a view of the Christ from my apartment window, forever grateful for the journey. This place serves as my home base, allowing me to travel 4+ months a year with Miyaco 🐶.

The moral of the story: embrace the power of goals, manifestation, and daily gratitude. Journaling, personal growth, and a focus on wellness can transform your reality. Our thoughts shape our lives, and witnessing this magic, I encourage you to write your goals, create vision boards, and establish a meaningful morning routine. One day, you might look up and realize you’ve turned your dreams into reality through dedication and gratitude. 🙈🤩💓📝🧘🏽‍♀️🙏🏻

It’s been 1 week since I connected to Instagram and I’m feeling renewed, focused and a new sense of well-being. 💫💦😌🙏🏻

In Caraiva, Brazil lies an entire village on foot. In this rural community there are no roads, no cars, just horses and canoes as a main form of transport. Also internet is rare and very hard to find. I think this has a lot to do with the vibe. People seem happier, carefree and humble.

During my time here I immersed myself in the simple joys of fresh fruits, daily walks + work outs on the beach, meditation and start gazing. The stars in the sky shine so bright! Musicians can be heard playing tribal drums and popular Brazilian samba + pagode music. People can be seen in swimsuits 24/7, dancing trekking, swimming, relaxing and dancing with toes in the sand. Above everything else Mother Nature is the real highlight in this rural indigenous beach/ jungle paradise. Beautiful untouched beaches, turquoise blue ocean, massive trees filled with monkeys etc! Talk about my kind of paradise 💓

What’s even more awesome is that while visiting this paradise my online business flourished, a testament to the hard work before my hiatus. I couldn’t be more thankful for this experience with my furry sidekick Miyaco, my partner + some of my closest friends. ✨

Remember, sometimes stepping back is the key to moving forward. 💃🏽🌍

🌟 Still Figuring Where to Focus your energy in 2024? Here’s a Starting Point 🌟

In the quest to carve out a path for the new year, consider this: before aiming for a specific destination, it’s crucial to chart out where you definitely don’t want to end up.

1. Define Your ‘No-Go’ Zones: Take a moment to envision where you absolutely don’t want to find yourself in the next year or even a few years down the line. This clarity serves as a guiding light, steering you away from potential pitfalls.

2. Embrace Discomfort as a Catalyst: That unnerving realization that your current path might lead precisely where you don’t want to be? Use that as a driving force for change. Take radical steps, even if they seem daunting. Sometimes, the most transformative journeys start with the boldest leaps.

Remember, it’s okay not to have all the answers right away. But taking the first steps—eliminating what doesn’t serve your future—can set the stage for an incredible journey toward a more fulfilling destination. 🚀

For me I knew I didn’t want to end up like majority of the American population confined to the traditional job dreaming about the whopping 2 week vacation allotted each year. I knew that I had to do the exact opposite of what the 99% were doing to ensure my future played out differently. So what did I do? Sold all my s**t and fled the country without a plan. Sounds bad, I know - but I knew that my will to live my life differently would help me figure it out. As they say “where there is a will there is a way!” And guess what? This was the best decision I could have ever made! This radical action led me to my path, driving me to build my online business with my online community as my support to ensure success. 💫

So with that I leave you with the question, where do you definitely want to ensure you don’t end up?

My why? I spent the past decade carving out a career in dentistry, climbing the corporate ladder, and even investing in startups as a partner. But here’s the kicker—I’ve come to realize something truly important. In chasing what seemed like the “smart” path, I overlooked a significant aspect: the toll it took on my health. Manifestation tip: Set clear intentions, visualize your goals daily, and create a manifestation routine—whether through journaling, goal setting, meditation, or affirmations—to strengthen your focus. Consistency is key! ✨💫

These tips become evident through a personal experience. Two months into the pandemic shutdown, while tidying my LA home, I stumbled upon an old journal revealing a list of goals I’d written nearly a decade earlier. Surprisingly, I’d achieved most but hadn’t tackled the 10 year long term goals. With just a year left, I hadn’t lived in a foreign country or learned a new language. Then, in November 2020, a spontaneous trip to Rio de Janeiro altered everything. Initially intended as a brief escape, it turned into a love for the digital nomad life across various countries. Returning to Rio later, I decided to stay the full 6 month duration my tourist visa would allow. I enrolled in Portuguese classes all while unconsciously reaching my long term goals right on time. The lesson? Writing down goals is powerful, but manifesting them through focused actions and consistency is the secret.

Behind every extraordinary moment is a leap taken in fear. There's a moment frozen in time—it's the story of how everything I do revolves around this little furry guy. Miyaco's been my partner-in-crime since he was 8 weeks, and now, at 10 yrs, he's wise beyond his dog years.

Our story began unexpectedly on the streets of Burbank, California. I stumbled upon a guy selling two adorable white Maltipoo pups. The shock hit me when he said, "Three hundred bucks." These pups usually cost several thousands, but something inside me knew I had to have him. So, without second-guessing, I grabbed the cash from the ATM nearby and made Miyaco mine.

Back then, life wasn't exactly smooth sailing. Money was tight, and I didn't even have a car. People around me kept saying a dog wasn't a good idea, but deep down, I knew this was meant to be. Looking back, it was the best gut feeling I ever followed. Sometimes, you've just got to trust your instincts, even when everyone else says otherwise.

As life unfolded, I learned a thing or two. Sometimes, you've got to dance to the beat of your own drum. It might be scary, uncertain even, but that's where the good stuff lies. We're all fed this idea of what we should do, but breaking free from that is where the real magic happens.

Miyaco became more than just a dog; he became the spark that ignited a fire in me. He's seen more countries than most people, pushing me to craft a life filled with excitement and adventure. He taught me that living without fear is the way to go. When you're scared of something, that's often the exact path you need to take.

Miyaco showed me that beyond that fear lies a life more incredible than we could ever imagine. Trusting that gut feeling and going for it. That's where the real magic is.
