When we speak a word, it doesnโ€™t only depict its literal meaning, but in every phrase that we spit, the dignity, beliefs, and resiliency of each Filipinos reflect wholeheartedly.

The National Filipino Language Month specifically aims to further enhance every individuals love for our native language, not only during this time of the month, but in our everyday living. This month-long celebration seeks to highlight our identity, history, and unity as a Filipino. At the same time, this celebration seeks to shape every citizensโ€™ mind on the importance and value of the Filipino and Indigenous Languages to us, and what their crucial contribution is to our history that served as a sword that freeds us a hundred of years ago from now.

Let us enjoy this celebration together that deepens our culture and unity as time passes. Not only should we value our language for this month, but we should always keep in mind that our language is a magical weapon at all times. Let us not forget that within the drop of each words, we could possibly build a future for our country.

Spearheaded by the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department, LNHS successfully kicks off the Nutrition Month 2025 celebration with an exciting and educational lineup activities, highlighting the theme: โ€๐—™๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†, ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†, ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ป๐—ฎ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป, ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป.โ€ The month-long event, held throughout July, focused on raising awareness about food security and the right of every Filipino to have access to nutritious and sufficient food.

The celebration kicked off with Food Display, which was participated by Grade 7 to Grade 10 learners. The food display was a colorful and educational representation of the importance of balanced nutrition. Students from Grades 7 to 10 were tasked with creating and presenting displays that showcased the three main food groups: Go, Grow, and Glow foods.

The students worked in teams to design creative and informative booths, each featuring an array of dishes, recipes, and food facts centered around these essential food groups. Many of the displays included local, easily accessible ingredients, demonstrating how Filipino families can incorporate Go, Grow, and Glow foods into their daily meals.

The vibrant food displays were not only a feast for the eyes but also an opportunity to educate the entire school community on the significance of a well-rounded diet. Each booth featured posters and flyers explaining the nutritional benefits of the foods on display, with students enthusiastically sharing their newfound knowledge.

Dr. Simeona Rechie C.Ojales, Principal IV, emphasized the importance of nutrition in the overall development of students, saying that this yearโ€™s theme encourages us to reflect on the role of food in our health and well-being. The Go, Grow, Glow food display is not just about showcasing beautiful dishes, but about understanding how the right foods can help our bodies grow stronger and healthier. Itโ€™s a message that we hope will stay with our students long after the celebrations end.

Despite Mabiniโ€™s struggle with money, he still possessed an extraordinary intellect. He worked tirelessly as a tailorโ€™s assistant until he was finally able to afford law school.
