MSLI’s 3rd newest addition to the Binibini Series, the M/V Binibining Coron, will be their 72nd newest vessel with a length of 67.10 meters, a breadth of 14.00 meters, and a depth of 5.00 meters, and was built by Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in Penglai, China.

M/V Binibining Coron will have her blessing ceremony today in Ilijan, Batangas. She will be the 2nd vessel to house an onboard 7/11 canteen. She will be assigned to the Batangas-Calapan and Batangas-Abra de Ilog routes and she will also be having her maiden voyage today in Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro.

SHIP FEATURE | Roble Shipping Inc BIGGEST and NEWEST Flagship ROPAX Vessel: M/V Immaculate Stars

This impressive flagship vessel was built in 2002 It has a Length Overall (LOA) of 83.00 meters, a breadth of 18.00 meters, and a depth of 5.40 meters. It boasts a Gross Registered Tonnage (GRT) of 2,480.00 and a Net Registered Tonnage (NET) of 1,686.00 tons where it stands as a testament to engineering excellence.

This vessel is powered by two ZIBO DIESEL engines, each producing 1,323.64 kilowatts, it ensures both reliability and efficiency. The MV Immaculate Star is designed to accommodate up to 919 passengers, offering a comfortable and secure voyage.

In terms of cargo, it can carry an impressive load, including 25 units of big trucks or wing vans, along with 43 units of SUVs or small cars. It has a service speed ranging from 11 to 13.5 knots, this ship is ready to navigate the seas serving the Cebu to Hilongos, Leyte and vice versa route starting this October 23 2023.

This vessel is named after Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion which the patron saint of Hilongos, Leyte. This will be the BIGGEST ROPAX Vessel of Roble Shipping Inc to ever sail in the Cebu to Hilongos and v.v. route.

This is Roble Shipping Inc’s testimony to the people of Leyte and Southern Leyte as this is the dream of Mrs. Beatriz Fulache-Roble (matriarch of Roble Family) to deploy a very big vessel in the Port of Hilongos.

This is a great news to the passengers and shippers of Hilongos, Leyte, Southern Leyte and its neighboring areas as Hilongos Port is the gateway port to the province and a vital port in Region 8. Thanks to its sheer size, it is more spacious and will give more comfort to all passengers in the said route.
