"Incident at Oglala is a 1992 documentary by Michael Apted, narrated by Robert Redford. The film documents the murder of two FBI agents, Coler and Williams, on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in 1975, and the legal case surrounding the subsequent trials of Bob Robideau, Darrell Butler, and Leonard Peltier. Peltier was convicted of the murders, but many, including the International Indian Treaty Council, believe Peltier is innocent of the crimes."

PLEASE... People. Read research how the murder of Annie Mae still haunts Indian Country, and realize that Leonard Peltier had NOTHING to do with her killing.

Thana Redhawk, an award winning poet, native activist & spoken word artist, created a poetic collaboration with Lakota poet/ actor, John Trudell before his passing on, in 2015. This work, FIRES OF THUNDER, is an album and now being released in book form.

Thana's creative work, coupled with Trudell's poetic voice, reaches into the soul of Indian Country while connecting us all as One Human Family. Her word medicine and their collaboration is a journey into forever Skies.

"Fires of Thunder" will be published in late Autumn 2025 by Wild Embers Press. In gratitude to John Trudell for the song collaborations, partial proceeds of book sales will be donated to Trudell’s family/ Archives by Thana and Wild Embers Press.

the current ( Nov 2024) HULU/ DISNEY series running....about Anna Mae Aquash ( 1945-1975/6) does NOT cover the entire story...of her murder... in the making the series gave NO VOICE to her friend ... the Canadian AIM brother John Graham....who was falsely convicted in connection with her murder ....

HIS story of her last year in the American Indian Movement ( AIM) and her death...is an honoring song.
Filmmakers of the current series
did not acknowledge...John Graham's truth.
