# # A Thrilling Race and First Victory for Safronov and Vaintrub
In an exhilarating 100th race of the FFSA GT Championship at Dijon, Éric Trémoulet and Olivier Jouffret claimed victory, marking a significant milestone since their partnership began in 2017. The duo from Vic’Team also took the lead in the Pro-Am standings, while Lémeret and Auriacombe extended their advantage in the Am Cup.
Starting from pole position, the Mercedes-AMG #64 led early but lost its lead during the mandatory driver change. With just 15 minutes left, Trémoulet made a decisive move against Nicolas Ciamin (Ginetta G56 GT4 EVO / CMR) to reclaim the front.
“This race is special for us, having participated in over 90 of the 100 races together,” they shared. This win gives them a 14-point lead in the championship.
Though Ginetta initially led, a sudden mechanical issue forced them to retire. Just behind the winners, Safronov and Vaintrub (Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO / Mirage Racing) finished fourth, closing in on the leaders.
In the Am Cup, Lémeret and Auriacombe secured their third win of the season. The next event will take place from June 20-22 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, promising more excitement in the title race!
