🚨PLEASE SHARE🚨 The Providence Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 12-year-old Jylliana McAlpine, who was last seen leaving her home overnight on July 14, 2025. Surveillance footage shows the juvenile leaving on her own.

Jylliana is described as a bi-racial female with a medium complexion, standing 4’9” tall and weighing approximately 100 lbs. She has long black curly hair, wears orthodontic braces, and was last seen wearing light-colored sweatpants, a light-colored T-shirt, and a dark-colored shower cap/bonnet.

A routine traffic stop on Main Street in Hopkinton escalated into the arrests of two individuals and the discovery of multiple fi****ms and illegal substances.

During the stop, the driver, Julien Santiago, 22, of North Providence, was found to have an active arrest warrant in West Warwick. Upon his arrest, officers uncovered a loaded .45 caliber G***k pistol in a backpack. While exiting the vehicle, front seat passenger, Javier Campuzano, 20, of Providence, dropped a loaded 9mm 3D-printed pistol onto the ground, resulting in his arrest as well.

A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded .223 caliber rifle, ma*****na, scales, packaging equipment, and approximately $1,600 in cash.

Julien Santiago now faces the following charges:
- Possession of a firearm while delivering a controlled substance
- Carrying a pistol or revolver without a license
- Two counts of possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited
- Loaded weapon in a vehicle
- Two counts of large capacity feeding devices prohibited
- Possession with intent to deliver ma*****na
- Conspiracy

Javier Campuzano has been charged with:
- Possession of a firearm while delivering a controlled substance
- Carrying a pistol or revolver without a license
- Possession with intent to deliver ma*****na
- Possession of a ghost gun
- Conspiracy

coyote was spotted at the 195 District Park in Providence shortly after 1 p.m. today. Visitors are advised to exercise caution, especially regarding small pets, and to keep dogs leashed and supervised. It’s also important to avoid leaving food or trash that may attract wildlife, contributing to a safer environment for everyone in the park. 🐕🐾😮🏙️

The Providence Police Department has arrested three men in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Darmani Balbuena, who was shot on his birthday, August 25, during a gathering on Rhodes Street.

Jalen Santiago (18) and Julien Santiago (20), both of Providence, along with 19-year-old Jose Diaz from Pawtucket, face charges of first-degree murder. Jalen Santiago was already in custody for a prior motor vehicle charge at the time of the arrests. Balbuena was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Major Drug Bust in Kennedy Plaza

The Providence police have announced the arrest of 22 individuals connected to an alleged illegal drug sales in Kennedy Plaza.

The undercover operation, which spanned several months, revealed that drugs were being distributed in the area. Of those arrested, 14 had prior felony charges or were linked to violent crimes, while 10 were probation violators. The suspects range in age from 18-64. 🏢😳

Joseph Gannon, a science teacher at Nathanael Greene Middle School in Providence, R.I., has been arrested on charges of first-degree sexual assault and producing or transferring child po*******hy. The school district has placed him on leave and will not disclose if it is paid or unpaid.

The school district also filed a report of suspected child abuse or neglect with the R.I. Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
