One of Pheobe‘s earliest shots, shortly after the idea for SwahiliModels was born.

It took a while, but now things are really getting going. New recordings will be made in October, including at Pirates Beach in Mombasa and in the ProKraft Studio in Nairobi. Who will be there?

So far, five models have signed up (it would be great if Pheobe could be there again). If you are also interested, please leave us a message. We are looking forward to you.

A hub for African Models and lens-based Artists.

The idea behind SwahiliModels is to create a platform where photographers, artists, agents, and advertisers from all over the world can find a model with exactly the African look that fits their goals. So it's an account where you can build your portfolio - combined with a job search and offer.

Even Makeup Artists, Hairdressers, Costume Designers, Set Stylists, and so on are invited to create a profile. It may be that you all already have your well-established team. But - creativity arises when new people come together. So, jump in and experience new things.

We were silent for a long time, Corona had messed up so many things. Now we want to start a new attempt and would be delighted if you would join us.
