It's a perfect day for our new music video! We had a great time working with Johnny and Molly of Communist Daughter on this, our second love letter to the Twin Cities.

Johnny Solomon of Communist Daughter approached us to make a video for "City Love" from the band's 2012 EP, Lions & Lambs. We decided to take Johnny and Communist Daughter singer Molly Moore on a meandering summer's evening tour of "their" Twin Cities, visiting the spots that hold meaning for them.…

Go figure, we went ahead and picked the weirdest winter on record to produce a project on...winter. With temperatures well above average and nary a school cancellation in sight, the number of good (i.e., snowy) shooting days were oddly limiting this year! We received some truly lovely footage, but have decided to hold onto it and pick up the project again in November (or whenever the first snow flies). It's still in our sights to produce a pretty little piece, but we are going to wait patiently through this unusually warm spring, and then summer and fall before we are back at it again. In the meantime, thanks for your interest!

Hooray for snow! If you'd like to submit some footage for our new project on Winter, now's a great time to go get some shots outside. We encourage you to use your own creative eye, both amateurs and pros, and send us a little or a lot -- we'd love to see it all. Your work will get broad exposure and the film will be featured in Metro Magazine. If you'd like suggestions, see the guidelines linked below, but also just have fun!
