From Humble Beginnings to Stardom
Born and raised in the Philippines, Vasquez’s love for music was nurtured by his father, who became his greatest inspiration. After his father’s passing in 2022, Vasquez moved to the United States to pursue his dream of a music career.
His journey on The Voice began with a show-stopping blind audition, where he performed Rose Royce’s “I’m Goin’ Down” and earned a rare four-chair turn. Choosing Michael Bublé as his coach set the stage for a remarkable partnership that carried him through the competition.
Vasquez’s victory didn’t come easily. He faced fierce contenders, including fellow Team Bublé artist Shye, Team Reba’s Danny Joseph, Team Snoop’s Jeremy Beloate, and Team Gwen’s Sydney Sterlace, ultimately emerging victorious.
