Dantata's Death, A Monumental Loss To Nigeria - Oluwo

I commiserate with the Dantata dynasty over the death of their Patriarch, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who passed away at 94.

As a father to the nation and a national asset, his demise is a monumental loss to Nigeria at large. Combining business prowess with administrative proficiency is a rare attribute but found in Dantata. He sustained the business excellence of the dynasty and handed same over to his children.

Aminu Dantata was a devoted Muslim who valued honesty, truthfulness and Godliness.

He was a rallying point. He was a detribalized Nigerian who detested preferential treatment. My interaction with him convinced me that, practically, Nigeria unity is visible. He committed himself sustaining the strength in Nigeria's diversity.

I pray to God to forgive his forthcomings and grant him Aljanah Firdaus. Your soul shall rest in peace.

I met no honour in Oluwo Stool. At state and federal functions, they used to position the Oluwo seat at the rear. In reclaiming the glory of Oluwo stool as an ancient city, I challenged the status quo. At any occasion where I'm not well positioned, I express displeasure in a civil manner. Many thought it was pride, I call it the price to reclaim the glory.

Oluwo is an ancient stool that was never upgraded from Baaleship. I'm one of the very few direct descendants and blood of Oduduwa.

If you think I'm proud, you must be inferior.

Eid-el Kabir: Oluwo Greets Iwo Sons, Daughters, Nigerians

I felicitate with Nigerians most especially sons and daughters of Iwoland on the occasion of 2025 Eid-el Kabir celebration. It's a special event to rejoice. It also presents a golden lesson of respecting promise made.

All Iwo sons and daughters should come home to celebrate the special moment. Let's all meet at the Eid praying ground. You will all be purely blessed from the stool. I'm available to host and fete all of you. As you know, my palace is open to you.

As we mark another glorious year remembering the promise made by Prophet Ibraheem, and as Olodumare turned the Prophet sorrow to happiness, Olodumare will turn your sorrow to happiness. You shall never know sadness again in your life. All obstacles hindering your progress are cleared and destroyed by the Special Grace of God.
