Chores in the winter aren’t our favorite but we try to make the best of it.
Tips for winter chores:
• wear gloves that can be washed and that you don’t care get wet and dirty
• have a heated waterer (that just makes things so much easier)
• understand that your hoses are turned off during the winter months so you will have to fill up inside. I make sure all the dishes are out of the sink before I go out and that way when I bring the waterer in to fill it’s easy to clean up the mess.
• have a really cute little helper ☺️
• use the deep litter method
• have an automatic chicken coop door so you can limit the amount of times you go out a day
