DURBAR is a quarterly magazine exploring the culturally-rich West-African Lifestyle, published 4 times a year. With City Guides to major West African destinations and entertaining, informative articles about people, businesses, activities and experiences, DURBAR Magazine is your definitive guide to the 16 countries that make up the West African region. What to do, where to go, how to buy, and the

people making the news: DURBAR will discuss this and more in every issue. Geopolitically, 16 countries make up the West African region: Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Sierra Leone. With the exception of Mauritania, all these countries are members of the ECOWAS. Despite the wide variety of cultures in West Africa, there are general similarities in dress, cuisine, music and culture that are not shared extensively with groups outside this geographic region. DURBAR also showcases these similarities while celebrating our diversity.
