Johnstown Film Commission The Johnstown, Pennsylvania region is an hour east of Pittsburgh… The edge of Appalachia and a goldmine of true blue Norman Rockwell Americana locations!

We are a welcoming mat and community outreach for implementing more of the motion picture industry into the greater Johnstown region, championing roughly from Bedford to Somerset to Ligonier to Indiana to Altoona and in between. This web page serves to consolidate gems of our ongoing local film culture. Our main goal is to play a role as an indispensable force bringing new feature film production into our region immediately.
