Based Reality Check w/ Darin Damme Reality Check is a Common Sense look at Current Events. Our only Agenda is to present the Truth so you can be informed with Facts.

Reality Check is a radio show for the rest of us. Those of us who have seen the Establishment Politicians of both parties run this country, and it's principles, into the ground. We have seen the Mainstream Media push a narrative that is serving to those in power, not those they are supposed to represent. We present the full story, we represent common sense, we expose false narratives and applaud t

hose who are doing the right thing. We believe in Critical Thinking, Questioning Authority and not blindly following or believing what we're told, but insisting on evidence to back up claims.

70% of the population is skeptical of the Media, and even more are distrusting of Congress and our Leaders. Reality Check represents those of us who can think for ourselves and come to our own conclusions, those who want to see evidence instead of being spoon fed headlines and those of us who want to live in a country where the rule of law and the rules of society apply equally to all.

Arizona Congressman Juan Grijalva passed away today. On January 17, 2017 Reality Check Interviewed the Congressman. Below is that interview.

We talked about:
- Why he didn't attend President Trump's Inauguration
- Why did he call President Trump a bigot
- Why was he upset that Wikileaks leaked the DNC emails that showed the DNC was cheating the Primaries and ensuring Hillary Clinton was the candidate and not Bernie Sanders

And a whole lot more.

Although we disagreed fundamentally on how to govern, I still respect Representative Grijalva for his service over the past 20 years. I also respect him for being on my show and answering the questions I posed without hiding.

No doubt he loved Arizona and I hope his family finds peace.

(0:26) It's Friday and this is Reality Check on KTAR News. (0:32) My name is Darren Damme. (0:34) Day by day, we go through the stories that are impacting our country, our state, our (0:40) community, and we dissect them.
(0:43) I think that we have officially tipped over in 2017 into the world of completely fake (0:49) news. (0:50) It is very easy to sit there ... Well, basically, let me tell you this. (0:54) You more than likely will be right more times than not if you believe the exact opposite (1:00) of what you see on CNN.
(1:02) If they tell you one thing, believe the opposite. (1:06) Really, that's about what it's getting to because that's what these stories are, the (1:11) amazing amount of propaganda that you've been pushed, and the amazing amount of deception, (1:17) and how many people are on the payroll to push the story so the people in control can (1:24) keep that control. (1:25) This week, we turned the page and finished a book.
(1:29) Well, there may be a sequel to it, but at this point, we can definitely tell the story. (1:35) It is that of the whole Fusion GPS, Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia meddling. (1:41) Let me put it to you this way.
(1:43) Well, as a matter of fact, let me put it to you the way that I put it to Representative (1:47) Trent Franks earlier this week. (1:49) These people were all connected with Fusion GPS. (1:52) This was an entrapment scheme, similar exactly to the Donald Trump Jr. meeting with Natalia (2:01) Veselnitskaya, who also worked with Fusion GPS, and that Russian lawyer met with Glenn (2:08) Simpson from Fusion GPS on June 9th, right before she went over to meet with Donald (2:14) Trump Jr., and guess who she met with right afterwards? (2:17) Fusion GPS and Glenn Simpson.
(2:19) They used that evidence to give to James Comey so that he could go and get these false FISA (2:25) warrants against Carter Page, against Paul Manafort, all these other people. (2:30) They knew this. (2:31) You know what? (2:32) Comey knew about what was going on because Comey turned them on to Christopher Steele.
(2:37) That was an FBI informant, and Comey was paying Christopher Steele out of the FBI. (2:43) This whole baloney about John McCain delivering the dossier, that was to put a Republican face (2:49) on it. (2:50) The FBI already had the dossier.
(2:53) The DNC and Hillary Clinton were already leaking details from the dossier. (2:57) This was a complete setup, and it goes to the highest echelon of the Obama administration. (3:04) Honestly, Representative Franks, I know too much, and I'm quitting this job in December (3:10) because I can't do this.
(3:11) Let me tell you, I'm fundamentally impressed here. (3:12) I am very impressed, because let me just, out of complete candid response here, there (3:19) was a lot of things that you just said that I know to be true, but you filled in some (3:23) blanks here that I find fascinating, and I don't know if we're on the air or not. (3:29) I guess we could be, but let me just say to you, just flatly, you can put it on the air (3:32) if you want to.
(3:34) I'd like for you to contact Andy and Mitch in my office tomorrow, or we'll call you, (3:40) and try to fill in some of these things, because we have so many things coming at us in Congress (3:47) that sometimes we don't always get to things that we'd like to, and people like you sometimes (3:50) can put a puzzle together that really rings true, and that is extremely significant. (4:00) You never know when something like this could change the course of history, and I would (4:04) like very much for my people to talk to you, because some of the things you've said tonight (4:07) are new to me, and they are fascinating, to say the very least. (4:12) I would be honored to help you out.
(4:14) Well, buddy, I'm telling you, I'm as serious as I can possibly be here. (4:18) Change the course of history. (4:21) That's what this could do if the entire truth is put out.
(4:27) Watergate was about five guys breaking into a hotel where the DNC headquarters was located, (4:33) in Washington, D.C., in the Watergate Hotel. (4:36) They took photographs of documents, and they put bugs in some of the telephones. (4:42) That's the extent of Watergate, and of course you had the presidential cover-up.
(4:47) What you have here is a story of an entire government doing everything it could possibly (4:55) do to ensure that the Republican candidate for president would not be elected. (5:01) They spied on him. (5:03) They wiretapped him and his associates.
(5:06) They used the intelligence community's tools to go through and listen in on his telephone (5:12) calls and his associates' calls. (5:14) They followed his people all around the world to see what they were doing. (5:19) To this day, there is not one charge that has been filed about actual collusion with (5:26) Russia.
(5:27) Not one. (5:30) Not only was it that campaign, or not only was it the government, but it was also now (5:34) we know the establishment Republicans, headed by Paul Singer, who was supporting Marco Rubio (5:41) at the time, who hired Fusion GPS, the slimy firm, propaganda firm, that they hired to (5:48) put together charges against Trump. (5:51) And then when Marco Rubio was knocked out of the election, it was passed on to Hillary (5:56) Clinton for the general election.
(5:58) Hillary Clinton, the DNC, and even President Obama's Obama for America PAC, OFA, paid almost (6:05) $1 million. (6:06) They thought they had an arm's length transaction because they used Perkins Coy, a law firm. (6:12) They said, well, the law firm hired him.
(6:14) We don't know about anything like that. (6:15) The law firm handled that. (6:17) That's against the Federal Election Commission standards and guidelines.
(6:22) It's against the law. (6:23) And not only that, they made up things. (6:26) They put together this phony Russian dossier, and they did it in cahoots with the FBI.
(6:32) And the FBI went in and used these lies that were printed in order to go in front of a (6:39) court, a secret FISA court, and request wiretaps. (6:47) And now when news comes out about this, like the news last night, you know that Donald (6:52) Trump Jr. meeting Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lady who is connected with Fusion GPS, well, (6:58) we now know that she met with Glenn Simpson before and after, and Glenn Simpson is the (7:04) head of Fusion GPS, before and after the meeting. (7:08) Well, now last night it came out that the quote-unquote dirt about Hillary Clinton was (7:14) an actual Fusion GPS file that she was going to give to Donald Trump Jr. about a couple (7:21) of donators to the Democratic National Party.
(7:25) It was written by Fusion GPS. (7:27) All of the evidence is Fusion GPS. (7:32) Coming up next, we tell the book, we tell the story.
(7:37) From chapter one to chapter ten, it entails everything. (7:44) And I don't just say it, I give it to you with the evidence to back it up. (7:50) This is Reality Check on KTAR News.
(7:52) Now, back to Reality Check with the deplorable Darren Dammey. (7:56) Deter Dan, how you gonna do that to me? (7:59) It's 6-17, everybody's eating dinner, my stomach is grumbling, and you're gonna start describing (8:07) luscious steaks from A.J.? (8:09) A.J.'s? (8:10) Well, dude, keep in mind, I can smell dinner from here. (8:14) Oh, I can smell dinner too.
(8:15) I can smell it right now. (8:16) All right, man. (8:17) Well, thank you.
(8:18) Hey, you have an awesome weekend. (8:19) Hey, you too. (8:20) Tear it up tonight.
(8:21) You got it, brother. (8:21) That is Deter Dan, your man with the master traffic plan. (8:25) Okay, so I just got a text, and I love this text.
(8:28) It says, honestly, Darren, you sound different now that you're on the home stretch. (8:32) A little bit more relaxed and upbeat, you will end your on-air run with people's eyes (8:37) wide open. (8:38) That was your goal when you started.
(8:40) Success. (8:41) You know, in a way, you're right. (8:42) We talk about a book, and every day was page by page, and you really can't see the whole (8:48) book until the whole thing is completed.
(8:50) In a strange kind of way, this book is wrapping up at the same time that I'm wrapping this (8:56) up, and the truth is out there. (8:59) The things that I was so upset about when I took this job, nobody's talking about this. (9:03) Nobody's paying attention to this.
(9:05) It's now information that's out there in the press. (9:08) Yeah, granted, CNN, MSNBC, and even Fox News to a degree are trying to hide a lot of these (9:13) things, not really reporting on it, but people like Devin Nunes, no. (9:19) People like Trent Franks, no.
(9:21) Andy Biggs, no. (9:23) Chuck Grassley, no. (9:25) There's a good portion of our representatives that now understand the depth of corruption (9:32) that has been happening and the depth of the scandal that took place during the 2016 election.
(9:39) People have been asking, have I been in touch with Trent Franks? (9:42) I'm putting together the information, and as a matter of fact, what I'm going to present (9:46) to you tonight is a good portion of the information I'm going to be giving to Trent Franks and (9:51) Mitch and Andy, and this will go straight to Congress. (9:54) This is the story of the 2016 election, and it's not about Russia, Russia, Russia. (10:00) It's about Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.
(10:04) It's about our government and Obama. (10:08) The Russians that were contacting the Trump people were all set up. (10:13) They were plants.
(10:14) They were people that were paid by American citizens to act as though they were working (10:18) in Russia's best interest to try to make contact with Donald Trump and his campaign people (10:24) in order to create evidence so that they could put together everything you're seeing right now. (10:32) This is the ... Call me a conspiracy theorist, for God's sakes. (10:36) By all means, let me wear the hat right now, because this is the biggest conspiracy in U.S. (10:44) political history, and the information's out there.
(10:51) If you don't believe it, you're stupid. (10:55) You've got to at least be going, hey, wait a second, I think there's something to this. (11:00) It all starts with the Russian dossier.
(11:02) We have breaking news we're following right now. (11:05) I want to get straight to Jake Tapper, who's with us. (11:07) Jake, you've got some major breaking news.
(11:10) That's right, Wolf. (11:10) A CNN exclusive. (11:11) CNN has learned that the nation's top intelligence officials provided information to President-elect (11:18) Donald Trump and to President Barack Obama last week about claims of Russian efforts (11:23) to compromise President-elect Trump.
(11:26) Yes, this Russian dossier. (11:28) Of course, that happened. (11:30) They announced it back in January.
(11:32) Mother Jones wrote about it late summer of 2015. (11:36) Jen Paul Mary from Hillary Clinton's camp, Hillary Clinton, all of them started going (11:41) Russia, Russia, Russia, because they knew what was coming. (11:43) The reason why they knew what was coming is because they paid for it.
(11:46) But you didn't know that they paid for it until about three weeks ago. (11:50) First, the GOP paid a firm called Fusion GPS for dirt on candidate Trump. (11:54) Then after the primary, the Clinton camp started paying them.
(11:57) That is when the project went international. (12:00) They paid a British spy with Kremlin ties who came up with salacious but unverifiable (12:04) claims. (12:06) Even the FBI, led by James Comey, considered paying Fusion GPS and Steele for more dirt (12:12) on Mr. Trump.
(12:13) Have you heard that? (12:14) They got paid by the establishment Republicans. (12:17) They got paid by the establishment Democrats. (12:21) They got paid by the FBI, the three people that Trump called out before it came out.
(12:29) You wonder why Fusion GPS wants to keep their records hidden. (12:33) They don't want their bank records out there. (12:35) The reason why is because if you had any idea who they were paying and who they got paid (12:41) by, it would bring the whole house of cards down.
(12:45) They were working as a dirty CIA just trying to set this guy up. (12:52) The simple fact that it's a year later now and he still hasn't fallen after they've thrown (12:56) every single thing at the wall at this guy, and I'm talking about Trump, is amazing. (13:02) That's more of a testament as to what he did not do as opposed to the fake Russian dossier (13:08) being a testament as to what people thought he may have done.
(13:13) That's what they continue to do. (13:15) Allegation, allegation, allegation, allegation, allegation. (13:18) They're doing it with Flynn right now.
(13:20) They're doing it with Roy Jones. (13:21) Just allegation, allegation, allegation because the United States population as a whole is (13:27) not that smart. (13:29) If you're listening to this show, you're definitely in the top 10, 20% of the intellect of the (13:35) people out there in the United States.
(13:36) Most people in the United States can't even begin to wrap their head around it. (13:41) Hillary Clinton's campaign, in effect, bamboozled America's intelligence agencies and the information (13:46) flowed and rose to the very top levels. (13:48) This is very troubling that the FBI, if they didn't know the origin of this came from Hillary (13:53) Clinton's campaign paying for it, why didn't James Comey know that? (13:57) If he did, why didn't he discount this? (13:59) Yeah, and by the way, the FBI, the DNC, Hillary Clinton, and the Republicans all denied that (14:05) they knew anything about it or that they paid for it.
(14:07) They lied to you for eight months. (14:10) Only when it became clear that Fusion GPS's bank records were going to come out in some (14:15) way, shape, or form, then all of a sudden people started raising their hands going, (14:19) okay, yeah, maybe it was me. (14:21) All right, maybe it was Hillary and the DNC.
(14:24) Oh yeah, I guess the FBI did pay Christopher Steele his travel expenses and things like (14:29) that. (14:30) The only problem is that they already went up on the stand and lied about it. (14:34) John Podesta and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
(14:37) Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign manager. (14:40) Debbie Wasserman Schultz, aside from being the most, well, probably the second most evil (14:44) woman alive, second only to Hillary, she was also the head of the DNC. (14:49) They both testified under oath in front of Congress, but they didn't know anything about (14:55) the dossier.
(14:56) We're now learning that John Podesta, the former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman, (15:01) as well as the former Democratic National Committee campaign chairwoman, both met privately (15:08) with the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier this month. (15:12) Actually, Debbie Wasserman Schultz met around October. (15:15) Podesta met in September.
(15:17) Now, they were asked explicitly at this interview, we are told, about whether they had any knowledge (15:23) of the Clinton campaign or the Democratic National Committee in funding this opposition (15:30) research that led to this dossier. (15:32) They both denied having any knowledge whatsoever. (15:37) Meanwhile, the guy who actually did pay for it was their lawyer, and he was sitting right (15:41) next to him.
(15:42) His name is Mark Elias, and of course, Arizona's senile senator, John McCain, stepped into (15:48) the role of concerned Republican. (15:50) Oh, oh, let me deliver this to the FBI. (15:55) I did what any citizen should do.
(15:57) I received sensitive information, and then I handed it over to the proper agency of government. (16:02) No, you worked as a mole for the DNC, and you worked as a go-between for the FBI, so (16:08) that people hopefully wouldn't track back the fact that the FBI was actually funding (16:13) the dossier. (16:16) Nobody expected Donald Trump to actually win.
(16:19) Everybody expected Hillary Clinton would win, and the crimes would be covered up. (16:25) Oh, but they're just beginning, because it reaches out into Congress. (16:30) It reaches out into President Obama's cabinet.
(16:32) It reaches out into virtually every single person in the establishment, and we'll draw (16:39) those lines next. (16:40) This is Reality Check, Friday night on KTAR News. (16:45) Reality Check with Darren Damme.
(16:47) KTAR News, 92.3 FM. (16:50) Reality Check. (16:52) Reality Check with Darren Damme.

(17:02) Simply download the KTAR app for Androids and iPhones. (17:06) Go to your app store. (17:07) It's free.
(17:08) Just type in KTAR. (17:09) You can stream anywhere in the country, anywhere in the world, or you could listen to our show (17:13) on demand. (17:15) Day by day, as we've gone through 2017, we've been trying to expose the lies that have (17:21) been told to you by the mainstream media.
(17:23) There is a great satisfaction in finally seeing the truth come out. (17:28) There's a great satisfaction in also seeing the people who called so many names so many (17:34) times. (17:34) Oh, that's baloney.
(17:35) Oh, no way. (17:36) There's no way that could happen. (17:37) Oh, you're this.
(17:38) Oh, you're that. (17:40) Now, all of a sudden, they're like, sooner the better, dude. (17:42) The sooner you can get out of here, the better, because I'm messing up your world.
(17:47) I'm messing up your world of thinking that Hillary Clinton was the end-all, be-all. (17:54) I'm exposing her for exactly the snake that she is, but it's not just Hillary Clinton. (17:58) It's the entire establishment, and I've said it since day one, the establishment versus (18:03) the people.
(18:04) I understand some people don't want to wrap their arms around Donald Trump. (18:08) I get it. (18:08) The guy said some things that has set some people off, and rightfully so in many cases.
(18:14) I understand that. (18:15) But you could not even imagine what your world would be like, what our country would be like (18:20) had, on November 8th of 2016, the election gone the other way. (18:25) We were this close to losing our republic, and they did everything they possibly could (18:31) do to try to steal it.
(18:34) The dossier, Fusion GPS, it's now all come to light. (18:38) Now the puzzle can completely be put together. (18:42) The latest revelations that we reported at the top of the hour are not only did Fusion (18:47) GPS set up the meeting at Trump Tower with Trump Jr. and Kushner and Manafort, but they (18:54) also were working with a woman, Natalia Veselnitskaya.
(18:58) They set her up. (18:59) They gave her their own information to hand to Donald Trump Jr. (19:06) Donald Trump Jr., even if he used the information, which he didn't, because it was about some (19:12) Democratic donors named the Ziff brothers, but you never heard that come out in the campaign (19:17) or anything else like that. (19:18) Even if he paid for the information, he still wasn't working with the Russians or the Russian (19:26) government.
(19:27) He would have been working with the same people that Hillary Clinton's camp was working with, (19:31) and that's Fusion GPS. (19:34) But it goes deeper, because the government even set up investigations based on the false (19:40) information that was presented. (19:43) As I told Representative Franks the other day, these were one-way conversations.
(19:48) Hey, the Russian government wants to have a meeting. (19:50) They want to give your dad information. (19:52) They want to help out your father.
(19:54) All with the intention of having enough information that they could take to a FISA court and enough (19:59) information that they could leak to the media and make these blatant allegations that had (20:06) absolutely nothing on the back end because the Trump administration or the Trump campaign (20:10) did not respond to them. (20:13) Here's James Comey telling you straight up, we started the investigation over this. (20:19) The FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government's (20:25) efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.
(20:30) And that includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated (20:35) with the Trump campaign and the Russian government. (20:38) It didn't happen because the Russian government reached out. (20:41) It happened because Fusion GPS reached out.
(20:43) Political hacks like Adam Schiff from the House Intelligence Committee even took the (20:48) dossier and tried to read it into the public record. (20:51) Also, according to Steele's Russian sources, the campaign has offered documents damaging (20:56) to Hillary Clinton, which the Russians would publish through an outlet that gives them deniability (21:01) like WikiLeaks. (21:03) The hacked documents would be in exchange for a Trump administration policy that de-emphasizes (21:08) Russia's invasion of Ukraine and instead focuses on criticizing NATO countries for not paying (21:13) their fair share.
(21:14) Puts things into a different perspective when you know the GPS, Fusion GPS, actually wrote (21:19) those documents that they were offering to the Trump campaign. (21:24) Not only that, but James Comey, right before the inauguration, went down and had a one-on-one (21:30) meeting with President-elect Trump at Trump Tower in which he presented to him the Russian (21:37) dossier, and then immediately walked downstairs and wrote a note about his reaction into his (21:42) classified computer, one of those notes that was actually released to the media, along (21:47) with the information about the dossier. (21:50) FBI Director James Comey tight-lipped on Capitol Hill, but a senior US official tells NBC News (21:55) that after the official briefing last Friday, Comey took President-elect Trump aside and (22:00) spoke with him one-on-one about the existence of unverified allegations about Trump's ties (22:05) and activities in Russia.
(22:07) Once people like Devin Nunes started picking up on it here in 2017 and started asking questions, (22:13) he requested from the FBI documents about unmasking, about wiretapping, about listening (22:18) in on the Trump campaign's conversations. (22:21) Of course, James Comey didn't want to turn over those documents. (22:24) He has been sort of slow-walking records about the Americans who were identified or unmasked (22:30) in these intelligence reports and providing them to Congress.
(22:33) And the reason that's a big deal is that everyone in the IC, in the intelligence community, (22:38) knows that there is no bigger, deeper, wider, more extensive paper trail than there is when (22:45) you unmask or identify an American citizen. (22:48) Should be very easy to turn over, but of course, they didn't want to turn those over. (22:54) He also never notified Congress that there was an investigation that began in July of (22:58) 2016.
(23:00) The reason why? (23:00) He didn't want to have the oversight. (23:02) The Gang of Eight is cleared for classification all the way up to the highest level. (23:08) It's the House Speaker and the House Minority Leader.
(23:12) It's the Senate leaders. (23:13) It's the intelligence committee from both the House and the Senate, the leaders of those. (23:18) Yet at the same time, James Comey opened up this investigation and never notified Congress.
(23:25) The reason why? (23:26) Because it was an investigation based on a phony dossier. (23:29) So since in your opening statement, you confirmed that there is a counterintelligence investigation (23:35) currently open, and you also referenced that it started in July. (23:39) When did you notify the DNI, the White House, or senior congressional leadership? (23:46) It's a good question.
(23:47) Congressional leadership sometime recently, they were briefed on the nature of the investigation (23:54) in some detail, as I said. (23:56) Obviously, the Department of Justice has been aware of it all along. (23:58) The DNI, I don't know what the DNI's knowledge of it was because we didn't have a DNI.
(24:03) Oh, you did have a DNI. His name was James Clapper. (24:06) You're just trying to keep him out of the conversation.
(24:09) And just again, to get the detailed on the record, (24:13) why was the decision made not to brief senior congressional leadership until recently (24:18) when the investigation had been open since July, a very serious investigation? (24:24) Why was that decision made to wait months? (24:26) Because of the sensitivity of the matter? (24:29) No, actually, because the illegality of the matter. (24:32) Shortly after testifying back in March, President Trump fired James Comey. (24:38) And Arizona's senile senator, the one who's involved with the dossier, (24:42) the one that's worried about his involvement in the dossier coming truly to light, said this.
(24:47) When you fire probably, arguably, the most respected person in America, (24:51) you better have a very good explanation. (24:53) And so far, I haven't seen that. (24:55) I don't believe that that is sufficient rationale for removing the director of the FBI, (25:01) and I regret that it's happened.
(25:02) Oh, he's complicit. He is definitely complicit. (25:06) James Comey then came back and testified more, (25:08) and we found out about wiretaps, FISA warrants, (25:12) and the proof of those, even though it's never truly been released, (25:16) the media's got a big mouth, and so do the leakers.
(25:20) This is Reality Check on KTAR News. (25:22) Reality Check with Darren Dammey, KTAR News, 92.3 FM. (25:29) Reality Check, Arizona's news station, KTAR News, 92.3 FM.
(25:35) Going back on the history here of everything that happened, of course, Comey got fired. (25:39) He used the dossier in order to try to persecute Trump, (25:43) and then he went in and he testified and called Trump a liar. (25:47) Former FBI director James Comey was barely two and a half minutes into his opening remarks (25:53) when he first accused the president of lying.
(25:56) And here he goes, because President Trump said, just as I did back in February, (26:01) that the Obama administration was wiretapping into Trump campaign's phones. (26:04) With respect to the president's tweets about alleged wiretapping directed at him by the prior administration, (26:10) I have no information that supports those tweets. (26:12) Yeah, the only problem is, the news came out and... (26:17) Well, both U.S. officials tell CNN that last year, (26:19) the FBI used a dossier of allegations of Russian ties to Donald Trump's campaign (26:23) as part of the justification to get approval to secretly monitor Trump associate Carter Page.
(26:29) The only problem that that is, is that it also made James Clapper look like (26:33) somebody who had perjured himself now two times in front of Congress. (26:37) Remember, the first time was when he said that the U.S. government wasn't listening in on your phone calls. (26:42) He said that months before Edward Snowden released all the information that (26:47) the U.S. government was listening in on your phone calls.
(26:50) Here's the second time the Clapper lied. (26:53) Let me start with the president's tweets yesterday. (26:57) This idea that maybe President Obama ordered an illegal wiretap of his offices.
(27:02) If something like that happened, would that be information you would know or not know? (27:06) Yes. (27:06) You would be told this? (27:08) I would know that. (27:08) If there was a FISA court order on something like this? (27:11) He'd know if there was a FISA court order, right? (27:13) Well then, how do you explain this? (27:14) The fact that they were able to get a FISA warrant is a big deal.
(27:17) The fact is, this has to get approval from the highest levels of the Justice Department and the FBI (27:22) before agents can carry out this type of surveillance. (27:25) It's considered so intrusive that you almost never find out that these FISA warrants are authorized. (27:30) Yeah, and the bigwigs have to sign off on it? (27:32) They are signed by the director of the FBI and the Attorney General.
(27:36) I'm not saying that they actually read them, but in this case, (27:38) if Paul Manafort were a named interceptee, and that's a question mark in my mind, (27:44) was he intercepted incidental to some other target or was he an actual named interceptee? (27:49) But if he was, I can pretty well guarantee it went to the director level (27:53) and at least the Deputy Attorney General, if not the Attorney General level, for review and approval. (27:58) And then, of course, speaking of the Attorney General, (28:00) you had the meeting at Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer from Fusion GPS named Natalia Veselnitskaya. (28:09) The DOJ comes into effect because, you see, Veselnitskaya wasn't allowed in our country.
(28:14) But she had this big meeting set up through Fusion GPS. (28:17) She had to get in front of Donald Trump Jr. (28:20) So guess what? The DOJ stepped in and gave her a special visa. (28:25) These court records confirm that the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, (28:29) who's at the center of the Donald Trump Jr. emails, (28:32) was granted a special immigration status under the last administration.
(28:36) And this was a fact first reported by The Hill newspaper. (28:39) Parole is a discretionary authority that allows for the temporary entry of individuals (28:43) into this country on a case-by-case basis for either urgent humanitarian reasons (28:48) or for significant public benefit. (28:51) Of course, back in July, Shepard Smith from Fox News wanted you to think, (28:54) this is bad for Trump.
(28:56) This is not a variable. This is not an unknown. (29:02) She is fully tied to the Russian government and Russian oligarchs.
(29:06) There is no doubt that Russian officials and the lawyer herself (29:10) deny that she has any connection to the Kremlin, of course. (29:14) Isn't it sad when you have to believe the Kremlin (29:16) before you believe our own media and our own government? (29:21) What about the fact about the unmasking? (29:24) What about old Susan Rice? Remember her? (29:27) Oh, we didn't unmask anybody. (29:29) I know nothing about this.
I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Yunus on that. (29:34) Yeah, and then, of course, a couple days later, the news report of this came out. (29:38) The source close to the issue tells Fox News that former National Security Advisor Susan Rice (29:42) requested the unmasking of an overseas meeting that took place in the Seychelles in early January.
(29:47) Hang on! I thought she said... (29:48) I know nothing about this. (29:50) Oh, yeah, she did say that. I guess that meant that she was lying.
(29:53) Rice said the Gulf delegation had asked for a meeting with President Obama, (29:57) then canceled because they said they weren't coming to the U.S., (30:00) then came quietly to see the Trump team. (30:03) A former intelligence official disputed Rice's characterization, (30:07) emphasizing the Gulf delegation did ask for a meeting with Mr. Obama, (30:10) but the White House dropped the ball. (30:12) You see, it was a setup from the get-go.
(30:15) It wasn't Russians. It was Americans paying Russians to set up the Trump campaign (30:21) and our corrupt government took it to the next level. (30:25) That's a reality check.
