Some discoveries feel less like “shopping” and more like rescuing a piece of Greece’s soul.

I stumbled on this complete set of four vintage, 1960s folk-costume lithographs by the great Greek printmaker A. Tassos — still in their original mid-century frames — and knew instantly they needed to be preserved and shared.

A. Tassos didn’t just draw clothing. He captured identity… regional pride… the textures, colors, and traditions that defined everyday Greek life before modernity swept so much of it away.

Finding all four together, in this condition, is rare. And they’re now part of the growing Vintage Collection at The Pappas Market — a curated selection of treasures I find as I travel throughout Greece, one meaningful piece at a time.

If these prints speak to you the way they spoke to me, come take a look. This is exactly the kind of heritage worth bringing home. https://pappasmarket.com/collections/vintage
