As a child, I used to spend long hours in solitude playing games. The computer was a friend, with whom I established a special bond. We played on weekends with friends — such great fun. Technology was always there, and techno music was part of our childhood.
As a teenager, there was rock music, but also techno sounds, from EBM to the style of Kraftwerk. Italo disco played on the radio, and synth-pop was something you simply couldn’t escape. The past was golden, decorated with dreams of a spectacular future. Sadly, due to the ignorance of humankind, we are now facing a near future that is not as shining or as golden as we once expected.
In this state of meditative contemplation, I have created this EP to revive those happy moments — when our minds were fully immersed in the sounds and the pixelated designs of the computer screen. A screen that was a window to another dimension. A dimension we selected through cartridges. Oh, how wonderful it was.
