Keep it simple!

Fishing on the SUP can be a blast, and I’ve found that the less gear I bring, the more I feel that way. Dip the toes in the water, bring one rod, and just embrace the bite you find. I think we can all agree that fishing can be over-complicated at times (just look at all the tournament bass fishing drama these days). It doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated to be fun!

I often get questions on the best 2lb test line. From my experience, this has always been one of the most budget-friendly and high performance options. I honestly can't tell if Berkley is discontinuing it or not, but it appears they have 5 in stock on Amazon so I would recommend grabbing it there if you are looking for a co-polymer / monofilament.

Hello and Merry Christmas!

My sister-in-law shared with me that her aunt was recently involved in a terrible car accident. I know there are a lot of causes out there which you can use your hard earned money to support, but if you find it in your heart to consider a donation to her family during this long road to recovery, that would be absolutely appreciated.

I was personally inspired by the post Tara wrote this morning, which shared her experience going through this car accident. I won't share the whole thing, but one admirable portion of the post read: "As I'm headed to inpatient rehab, I want to say that I feel no anger towards the man that hit me and I told the police to let him know that. Everybody makes mistakes in life. I also want to say that I embrace this mess ahead of me with open arms as God has me here for a reason."
