OUT NOW - ‘Found & Found’ by Nitai Hershkovits and Daniel Dor, also available on vinyl

Nitai Hershkovits and Daniel Dor return with Found & Found, their second collaborative album and a natural continuation of the musical dialogue initiated with The Garden Suite.

Born out of pure curiosity — “there was more to say, more to explore,” explains Dor — the album expands the duo’s sonic language beyond the synth-only framework of their previous work. While the Moog remains central, Found & Found introduces clarinet and acoustic guitar, gently dissolving the boundaries between electronic and acoustic sound.

Each composition unfolds through interlocking, mantra-like patterns. Repetition becomes a space for transformation: melodies circle, textures shift, and subtle harmonic movements invite the listener inward. The music is structured with care, yet it feels open and fluid, intimate, spacious and quietly immersive. If their previous record explored orchestral depth through synthesizers, this new chapter embraces air and clarity. Acoustic gestures emerge within electronic landscapes, creating a sound world that is both grounded and weightless.

Daniel Dor brings with his fellow partner Nitai Hershkovits a refined harmonic sensitivity shaped by both jazz and classical traditions. Together they continue to refine a shared language that moves between structure and freedom, precision and emotion.

The album is available on vinyl as a special limited edition, released in collaboration between Raw Tapes and Circus Company.

Drummer Sol Monk calls the joyous, hypnotic ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’ — the first single and title track of his upcoming album — “that feeling of coming back home after a very good day.” All the energy and exuberance of the outside world, infused with the intimacy of home. ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’ builds on one glimmering, deep-grooving riff from guitarist Tamuz Dekel, set aloft by keys and bass from Rejoicer and Sol Monk’s popping rhythm.

OUT NOW - ‘Farewell Metro Boy’ by Jonathan Levy

On his swirling, musical collage ‘Farewell Metro Boy’, multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Levy invited a cast of collaborators to build playful, poignant, groove-driven and jazz-tinged tracks, allowing each to evolve in unpredictable ways. Produced by Nitai Hershkovits, they improvised these songs into existence, before calling in friends like trumpeter Avishai Cohen, synth-master Rejoicer, drummer Daniel Dor and more to set them in motion.

OUT NOW - ‘Songs of the Willows’ by Ilan Salem

This new album by Ilan Salem was created in close collaboration with pianist Nitai Hershkovits. Written entirely by the two and produced by Nitai, it marks a reunion that began in 2009 on Salem’s ‘Wild’ LP. Fifteen years later, they return alongside Barak Mori (bass), Daniel Dor (drums), and Salem’s son Hillel (trumpet), shaping 'Songs of the Willows' - an uplifting blend of classical music and spiritual jazz, delivered with elegance and depth.

OUT NOW - ‘The Good I Have (Is With You)’ by Jonathan Levy

The second single from Jonathan Levy’s new LP, ‘Farewell Metro Boy’, captures a floating feeling we all know: the sweetness of being seen by another human. Levy built the track with musical copilot Nitai Hershkovits who produced the album, and the two dance around each other: Levy on guitar, fretless bass and vocals, and Hershkovits on twirling keyboards. 'The Good I Have' is a gently-swaying hug, with Levy’s layered “oohs” helping the track squeeze a little tighter. It’s just one surprise of Levy’s welcome new chapter.

OUT NOW - ‘Please Repeat’ by Jonathan Levy

The first single from Jonathan Levy’s upcoming LP, ‘Farewell Metro Boy’, comes in the midst of great chaos. It seems increasingly rare to find the natural patterns of inward and outward - and that’s where music comes in, reminding us that it’s always there, under it all. Through jangling percussion, echoing synths and lumbering bass, all falling in and out of sync, the song, “expands, contracts, circles back and changes shape”, says Levy. “It persists, just not in a straight line”. Producer and keyboardist Nitai Hershkovits who produced the album helped steer the album into new sonic territory; the mesmerizing ‘Please Repeat’ is our point of entry. May we find our moments of ease within this swirl of life.

OUT NOW - ‘One Sees What May Be Hills (Or Perhaps They Mayn’t)’ by Ilan Salem

Flutist, composer, and educator at the heart of the local and international jazz scenes, Ilan moves between modern and post-bop jazz, chamber textures, and cross-cultural influences. With four albums as a leader and countless collaborations, he’s also shaped generations of musicians through teaching and mentorship.

His upcoming LP 'Songs of the Willows', produced by Nitai Hershkovits, drops March 27 — with the first single landing this Friday.

OUT NOW - Elsewhere by Nitai Hershkovits & Daniel Dor

The second single from Nitai and Daniel's second collaborative album, “Found & Found,” is true to its name - this composition will transport you. Assembled from repeating, jigsaw-puzzle-like, synth patterns, flowering clarients and hushed acoustic guitar, the song introduces a mystical, folk feel to the duo’s body of work. “The repetition can take you somewhere else,” advises Hershkovits.
