This week’s podcast episode of On Broadway - https://broadwayradioprograms.com/ - is an interview with John Kendrick, author, teacher and theatre and film historian. His 2008 book Musical Theatre: A History is a comprehensive history of musical theatre from ancient times to the present. He best accomplishment, in my opinion, is his website Musicals101.com: The Cyber Encyclopedia of Musical Theatre, TV and Film.

I founded the station in March 2019. I had a long association with terrestrial radio, beginning at WRSU-FM at Rutgers College in New Jersey in the late 1970’s. For the past 25 years, I had a weekly radio program, “On Broadway,” on WRTC-FM, Trinity College, in Hartford, CT.
I am also a theater critic, serving as the current President of the Connecticut Critics Circle, and a member of the Outer Critics Circle..
My reviews on Connecticut and New York theater are published on my blog, stuonbroadway.blogspot.com. You can also find Sounds of Broadway on Twitter @SoundsofBway and on Instagram @soundsofbroadway.
