What could possibly go wrong when the seat of the presidency becomes family inheritance?

In a sprawling African democracy, a former exile-turned-president is laying the groundwork for his well-groomed son—a youthful entrepreneur and growing political ambitions. Meanwhile, in a small oil-rich nation ruled by a military man-turned-eternal president, a flashy vice president with luxury mansions and international indictments is waiting in the wings. Once the land of escapism and spectacle, Hollywood is now a high-stakes cultural battlefield. From secret Pentagon funding to policy messaging in primetime TV, this exposé uncovers how entertainment has morphed into a political weapon—shaped by government influence, polarized audiences, and billion-dollar incentives. As studios pick sides and celebrities become campaign surrogates, the once BIG silver screen has never looked so partisan.

What does it mean when your favourite movie isn’t just storytelling—but strategy? This dives deep into how Washington writes itself into Hollywood’s scripts, and why the future of entertainment may determine the future of American democracy itself.

Late Night Television Oligarchy.

The absence of diversity in late-night TV is not merely an oversight or a byproduct of tradition. It is a symptom of deeper, systemic issues rooted in the politics of network television and broader cultural dynamics. The gatekeeping mechanisms, shaped by a predominantly White and male hierarchy, have consistently upheld a narrow definition of what a “late-night host” should look like.

For decades, late-night television has been a defining feature of American pop culture. The comedic monologues, celebrity interviews, and satirical takes on current events have become a nightly ritual for millions. Shows like Late Night with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver have cemented their hosts as cultural icons, influencing everything from political debates to internet memes.

However, a glaring reality persists: late-night television remains overwhelmingly dominated by White male hosts.

In an era defined by the rapid dissemination of information, the concept of the “War on Information” has emerged as a metaphorical struggle for control over narratives and public opinion.
