Just finished filming at the amazing Huset Bergen in Norway. This low-threshold drop-in center is fully run by people with lived experience. They provide a wide range of harm reduction services, along with food, shelter, clothing, and — most importantly — compassionate human connection to people who use drugs in Bergen. And everyone working there receives the same salary! We also filmed at Bergen’s drug consumption room and at a pioneering he**in treatment program right in the heart of the city. Huge thanks to Marianne Cook Pierron and Arild Knutsen for their inspiring work and warm hospitality. Videos coming soon!

At ICPR 2024, we spoke with Ethan Nadelmann, founder of the Drug Policy Alliance, about how psychedelics fit into the broader landscape of drug policy reform. We’re proud to have known Louise Vincent and so sad about her passing. The films we made together—on the history of the drug user movement and her narcofeminist storyshare model—will, we hope, help keep her legacy alive.

Filming at The Thistle, the first supervised drug consumption space in the UK. A trauma-informed, integrated harm reduction program with housing first, reproductive health service, hepatitis and HIV testing and counseling and a he**in assisted treatment program next door. A multidisciplinary team serves clients and connects them to other social and health services. More than 50 overdoses were reversed without any fatality since January 2025. People with lived experience are meaningfully involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of the program.
