MY STEPMOM TOLD ME TO WASH DISHES AFTER HER BIRTHDAY PARTY BECAUSE I DIDN'T GIFT HER A DISHWASHER – KARMA HIT BACK FOR HER AUDACITY

Ever since my dad remarried Trudy two years ago, my life has been a nightmare. She acts like the world revolves around her.

So, last Saturday was her big birthday party, and she made it clear she expected something special from me. “I know you’re saving up for prom, but you should just use that money to buy me a dishwasher. That’s what I really need,” she said, all casual.

Of course, I couldn’t afford that, so I cleaned the house and helped with the party instead. But during the cake cutting, she tapped her glass, turned to me, and snapped, “Mia! Wash the dishes! I can’t believe you didn’t even think to buy me that dishwasher! Is that how you appreciate me?”

I told her, “Trudy, I didn’t have the money.”

“Excuses! Just do something useful,” she barked.

So, I scrubbed dishes all night, feeling like a servant. But the next morning? Karma hit hard. I woke up to Trudy fuming in the kitchen, red-faced and shaking, “Mia! Look at âŹ‡ïž

MY DISABLED NEIGHBOR NEVER SMILED — ONE DAY, I FILLED HIS LIFE WITH PURPOSE.

When my father died, I packed up my life and moved into his old house with my two boys, 12 and 14. It wasn't much, but it was ours. My husband had left years ago for another woman, sending child support but never showing up. I had no other family — my mother had abandoned me as a child — so it was just me and my kids against the world.

The house next door had always fascinated me. It belonged to an old man in a wheelchair who spent his days either staring out the window or sitting on his porch in the garden, eyes fixed on the road like he was waiting for something that never came. His gaze was always distant, heavy with a sadness I couldn't quite place. We exchanged the same pleasantries — "Good day" and "Take care" —but that was it.

Until the day my boys did what I had forbidden them from doing for years. They came home, but they weren't alone. I was in shock.

"Where did you get that?" I asked, already dreading the answer.âŹ‡ïž

After my husband's death, my MIL KICKED US OUT!

When my husband died, my world fell apart. He was only 37. So unfair
I didn't know how to go on, how to explain to our little kid why her daddy was gone. But life decided my pain wasn't enough. Not even 15 minutes after my husband's funeral, my MIL barged into my room with a smug look on her face!
Her: "You and your daughter. Out. I'm selling this house."
Me: "W-what! But...THIS IS OUR HOME! God, she's your grandchild! We just buried Nick!"
Her: "I don't care. GET OUT! NOW! I already have buyers."
In a rush, we packed the most important things and left. Seeing my daughter crying in that motel room, I knew — I wasn't going to let this go! I already knew EXACTLY WHAT TO DO!
