Creating a video game is always a rollercoaster of emotions.
You can't even imagine the sheer amount of work that goes into an adventure game.
Writing the script, drawing, animating, programming, composing, sound designing, testing, translating, attempting at marketing...
That's a rollercoaster of emotions that come crashing down from start to finish of every project.
You start off full of energies, then by the time you finally release, all you can do is hope this is not a complete s**t.
I've been at this for 5 years now, and it still feels like a gamble.
I find myself losing all certainty and hoping for a few hearts from loyal gamers, postponing the end of Sui Arts for yet another year.
Luckily, there's always someone there, especially my dear slaves... um, I mean, my dear translators!
I still haven't figured out why they've been helping me for 5 years, but as long as they're around, it's probably best not to ask too many questions!
Big thanks to those who took the time to playtest (especially Mauro, who replayed the game like 50 times).
Thanks to all of you who read my crap on social media and chat with me on Discord.
Thanks to the Solar2D community (the framework I use to create my games).
Thanks to Vala, my lovely and talented wife (it's all her fault the game isn't free, seriously: she eats like a damn seal).
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported my work by buying a copy of the game on day one,
helping it climb to the top of the adventure game charts. (As usual, Steam and Apple ignore me, but Google Play rocks).
It's been a ride, but here we are, 5 years later, at 37, with fewer hairs and more male-b***s than ever.
Now I hope Ghost In The Mirror will bring a smile to your face, and that you'll be begging me to start working on episode 2 right away.
Now, another adventure begins...
Now...
Now I'm off to bed, and f*ck you all. Thanks again, love y'all
