A circle can be a metaphor for many things. As a noun, "circle" can refer to one's orbit of friends, or the planets, or protection; as a verb, it can be an embrace, a threat, or a comfort. Today we explore many different circles. Join us at 2pm Pacific (SLT) on RadioSpiral.net for I Scream Sunday #36: Circles.

Boy is it ever turning into autumn here. We're having warm days followed by considerably colder days. Maybe it's finally convincing my tomato plants to get around to ripening the tomatoes. Quite the bumper crop of everything. Each Ephemera requires a lot of refining, as the studio constantly changes and what worked before, doesn't work now, or maybe isn't even in the studio now....

Morning Cup of Calm #28: Grounding -- Plant your feet, and remember what it's like to be close to the earth. Breathe deeply, reach downward to the roots of the planet that sustains us. Draw peace and comfort from her, and share that with the world around you. This morning's show may include a brief meditation at the beginning. Join us for some calming connection to the earth, on RadioSpiral today at 8am Pacific.

Radio for the Internet Age
Started in early 2017 as a spinoff of another internet station, RadioSpiral is the home of some of the most compelling electronic and ambient music on the web. And as one of the very few stations with a persistent presence (streaming 24/7) in Second Life, we also have a vibrant and very engaged community of listeners, artists, hosts, and admins.
We pride ourselves on presenting a top-quality experience for our listeners, carefully curating an immense (and always-growing) body of work from artists all over the world. Peppered with hosted shows and regular live music festivals, RadioSpiral is the place to be.
Okay, enough of the sales speak. How did we start?
First it was Mike Metlay, aka “Mister Spiral, the Spiral who puts the spiral in spiral”, and Diana Smethurst, aka “GypsyWitch”, joined shortly afterward by another internet radio veteran, Paul Harriman, aka “EdisonRex”, who hosts, plays live, and runs the nerve center of the station (i.e. the servers that broadcast all this wonderful stuff). Within the first year, we added Joe McMahon, aka “Pemungkah”, aka “The SpudMeister”, to the admin staff; Rebekkah Hilgraves, aka “Skr0!nk” followed not long after; and round out the list of luminaries, Allen Goodman and Darrell Burgan joined us.
We have weekly hosted and live programs (find the schedule on our calendar at https://radiospiral.net/calendar), and live music marathons about once per quarter (there’s one coming up in April 2018, our biggest yet! Find out about our upcoming festivals at http://radiospiral.party). Our live festivals are always simulcast on both the normal radio stream (learn more at http://radiospiral.net/listen) and in our Second Life headquarters (http://radiospiral.life).
