Any other husky owners have to put on a full gourmet performance at mealtime? We’ve even pretended to take a few bites just to get Ru interested 😂

Finding a high-quality, protein-forward food that Ru actually loves has been a game changer. Chicken is clearly the winner around here, and meal toppers have finally made mealtime something she gets excited about. Meru has been with us for 7 months! It still feels like a whirlwind of emotions as we close this year with a new rescue. Ru has been an incredible addition to our little family, and picked us up out of a low this year and got us smiling again.

We wanted to share a little more about her here, since she’s still so new to our life and rescuing her has come with a lot of patience and time building trust with each other. If you make it to the end of this, I hope you enjoy the video of Ru playing with one of our mom’s dachshunds!

Leaving this off with another reminder that there are so many amazing dogs looking for loving homes at your local animal shelters. Volunteer to walk, foster, or if you have the time, patience, and love to give consider adopting a dog in need 💕
